NJ OOS CCW – SBI Number Not Matching, & middle initial issue.

I’m a NY resident applying for a NJ non-resident CCW. My NJ FID was approved August 13, and I have an SBI number.

When I enter my SBI number, I get: “SBI Number and applicant information entered does not match with the fingerprint information on record.”

The PTC application will not let me proceed without entering a middle initial, but I have no middle name and did not use a middle initial on my FID application. Could that be causing the mismatch, or is it because my FID was approved only a few days ago and the system hasn't updated yet?

Anyone run into this?

Thank you all very much.

Where in PA can I legally shoot on my own property?

I'm sure this has been asked before, not looking to move to far from my family in NY, but 2 hours away on avg, give or take is acceptable, but looking to retire in PA in a few years, and one of my goals is to have enough property where I can legally shoot my handguns, rifles, and shotguns in my own backyard without constantly worrying about neighbors calling the cops or running into township restrictions. I know Pike county might be what I want, but i know I need help.

I'm not looking to break any laws, I want to do everything legally with a safe backstop and plenty of distance from neighbors.

What counties or townships should I be looking at? Are there areas where it's generally accepted as long as you're on your own property, or does it really come down to each township's ordinances?

Any recommendations from people who already shoot on their own land would be appreciated.

Where is the center on a stagged tile?

Okay I'm going nuts here, I'm tiling over pre-existing tile, my wife doesn't want the demo so this is the best I got. But here is my issue. I'm installing a staggered 2x4 mosaic backsplash, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to center it.

My wall is 30" wide, so I marked the center at 15". Each mosaic sheet is 14" wide, so the center of the sheet is 7".

Should I line up the center of the sheet with the center of the wall, even though the rows are staggered? Or should I center one of the vertical grout joints instead?

I'm trying to end up with equal-sized cuts against both cabinets. But now I'm realizing with a staggered tile, that can't happen correct? What's the correct way to lay this out before I start tiling?

Bodyguard 2.0 comp optic recommendations

So, I'm picking up my very first S&W, I am going for a bodyguard 2.0 comp, and I want to know for those that have Optics on their handgun which ones are they using.

I see Viridian & Holosun are popular choices, also, should I get my slide milled for either of these Optics?

Thank you very much all.

Deep lore question

Ok, good question here. Why do you think monsters like Biollante, Destoroyah, and SpaceGodzilla never became recurring Titans the way Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan did?

Do you think it’s because their stories were “too final,” or do you think Toho just never knew how to properly reuse them?

Fresh asphalt patch — should the unsealed edge be sealed?

A fresh asphalt patch was installed a few days ago in front of my driveway. The street has a huge dip near the curb, so they re-asphalted it because cars were scraping while pulling in and out. Unfortunately, I have to live with this Band-Aid fix until the community I live in repaves the street next year.

I noticed they sealed/tacked three sides of the patch, but not the final side. Since cars will constantly be driving over it entering and leaving the driveway, I’m worried that unsealed edge could eventually crack or break away.

Is it normal to leave one side unsealed like this, or should I have that final edge sealed too? Right now the street is flush with the curb of my driveway.

Thank you very much

Hi all, so I’m looking for backsplash suggestions to go with my Taj Mahal countertop and my kitchen . I want something that stays in the warm tone family — not bright white, not gray, and nothing too shiny. Ideally matte or satin with very subtle beige, nothing busy. My kitchen cabinets are for my kitchen cabinets are cherry wood.

I’m leaning toward something clean and minimal, but I don’t want it to look bland or cheap either. What tile styles or colors would you recommend that would complement this setup?
