I want to do a 50+ miles. The most I can handle now is 30. Would a road/gravel bike make it easier?
Im in pretty phenomenal shape. 30 miles and im tapped out and my ass is killing me. Im wondering if my hardtail is the limiting factor

$19782 concrete wall. How did I do?
We recently bought a house with a failing retaining wall. I got about 25 different quotes using wood, blocks and concrete. The cheapest bid was $10k and that was for 4x4 posts 1 foot in the ground. Most quotes were about 36-38k for blocks. These concrete guys came in at 16k with piers dug but they couldn't drill deeper than 2 feet into the bedrock. The situation changed and we had to go woth a T footing which upped the cost the $19782. A lot of the wood quotes I got came in over 12k so the concrete seemed like a good idea.
