Ben Gibbard should see a sleep doctor (quantified)

loving the latest album and the "trying to sleep through the night" lyric sounded too familiar, did some analysis on all death cab lyrics to see how often Ben Gibbard sings about not being able to sleep.

result: 27% of songs mention it

I wanted to like The Last Guardian, but the gameplay made it one of the most frustrating games I've ever played

Everything about this game is frustrating . The beast is dumb and barely obeys your commands. A simple jump can take 2–3 minutes I'll point at something over and over again, and he'll either completely ignore me, do the wrong thing, or take forever to finally do what I wanted.

I lost count of how many times I had to open a YouTube walkthrough because I thought I was stuck, only to find out I was trying to do the right thing all along and the beast simply refused to.

And don't even get me started on the camera. It's easily one of the worst camera I've ever seen in a video game. Turning it left or right is a FIGHT. It constantly bugs out, goes black, resets itself, and locks your movement while it's doing it.

That with some of the clunkiest and most unresponsive player movement I've ever seen. I genuinely don't understand how a game with platforming and parkour can play this badly.

The level design itself is also lame. All you do are very light puzzles and basic platforming, and the other 80% of the game is just waiting for this dumbass of a beast to obey your commands and watch him jump around

And all that while having to play at 30 FPS because it only released on the PS4.

Just so I'm not shitting on the game the whole time, the bond between the boy and the creature is cool, and the cutscenes/story are cool too, I can appreciate what the game was going for, but the gameplay just ruins the whole thing for me. It feels frustrating just for the sake of being frustrating.

i dont really get the bottom panel, anyone bother to explain?

i know they are from another dimension but how and why did they find mark from our dimension? arent they looking for their mark? also the, "yes, it took us fifteen years to locate this dimension. luckily... by that time there were at least four working time machines in guardian custody." is what confuse me the most

im reading it in english but im not a native speaker so that could be that problem? although i did watch the animated series in my native language and didnt understand it either, maybe im just dumb after all
