Considering trading for the showcases - and these are skeleton photos I got. I know there are actual fake showcases going around - so I’m trying to navigate this carefully since it would be an online trade for trade….
Looking to upgrade my premiere deck. Any fellow Vader players got updated lists / new cards they have added since the release of Ashes? If so, drop your ideas below and let’s discuss!
Yep - I was a degenerate wizard player...
Played FAB during its release for the first 3 sets (2019-2020) - I loved Kano & Wizard class because it reminded me of storm decks in MTG and I’m a math / combo nerd. Unfortunately my LGS at the time struggled during COVID and closed so the armories and the group sorta fell apart - I went back to playing MTG (mainly commander) & recently Star Wars Unlimited. Now that competitive, in-person Magic is basically dead & the game has become of Fortnite of card games with its universus beyond sets - I’d like to give FAB another shot.
I still have all my wizards staples (cold foil storm striders & node ❤️) from the early game days, but saw Kano hit LL and I’m looking at the other Wizards now. Anyone have advice or good YouTube suggestions to catch up on where the game is at now & how I can best sling arcane spells at my opponents face in 2026 😊?
I posted here a couple weeks ago looking for advice on what cards to add in a Vader / Palpatine deck. Here is the finished product - I’ve been able to play it a handful of times and won 4/7 games. The Vader deploy turn is what ends the game - he can hit like a truck and often time you’re able to catch players unaware of the math if you can draw multiple cards to discard during his attack that turn.
I’m trying to brew a deck around Palpatine & Vader - ideally something that can capitalize on Palpatine’s card draw so it fuels Vader’s ability. Starting to look through cards that have ‘when defeated’ effects, and also anything that rewards card draw.
Suggestions welcome!
