What is the "handling fee"?

I had an international parcel that arrived last week. The value of the item is around $87. After the parcel was presented to the CBSA for inspection, it was released to Canada Post for delivery on the same day. On the notice dropped off by CP, there is a fee of ~$20 that I would have to pay. According to the breakdown of the fee, around $10 of the total amount belongs to a "handling fee". What is the handling fee going towards, CP or CBSA? If CP is getting that $10, what did CP do to claim that $10?

Aug 18 #6 Road Incident

There were multiple RCMP vehicles surrounding a farmhouse near No. 6 Road and Blundell. The farmhouse is hosting multiple foreign workers. Wondering whether a violent dispute took place there last night that required a large amount of police force.

My mom's friend is looking for a job after getting laid off from a department store

Hey people, so as the title says, my mom's friend (55 yo, F) was laid off from The Bay @ RC not long ago. She worked there for 18 years. Any idea where she can apply for work? She has no one to depend on (no children, single, and her parents passed away long ago), and she is under financial stress, but the good thing is she has her own place to stay. Thanks, y'all.

You know what's more productive than Canada Post?

Everything else.

They put a delivery slip in my locker, which requires a longer walk than to my front door. The parcel is no more than 5lbs.

Explain that, Canada Post.

What is the status of the Guyver manga?

Has the publisher officially declared the manga finished? The author no longer wants to continue, so does that mean the manga is "done"?

Walmart Parking Lot: Sighting of an underage violin performer

Has anyone spotted an underage Asian girl playing violin near the entrance of Richmond Walmart while asking for donations? I'm perfectly fine with that, except I saw an adult man in his early 50's standing across from the lot, gazing at the girl all the time. Is he her legal guardian? If so, does it count as an exploration of underage workers? I'm asking because I don't know the full story.

Tried redesigning the new MJ Venom, what do you think?

Color: Gold and Black, no Red hair

Eyes: Bigger and more feminine with the touch of chaos

Hair Shape: Gave her a tiny bangs to bring back a bit of the 90's look

Mouth: No mouth

Arms and Legs: Blades on elbows and heels; rid of the boots and added the golden stockings

I'll do a final art after i get off from work. This is just a 3mins draft.

How is it that CP charged me a handling fee, but nothing was done to the parcel?

I imported goods from overseas, and I get that I need to pay the duty, but why is there a handling fee of $10 when the parcel was not even opened or inspected (not that I want them to open my parcel, but what is the logic behind the $10 fee)?

It is called Crispy Shrimp Noodles. More like Crispy Spicy Prawn Ramen. It's pan-fired ramen noodles with semi-sweet peanut sauce, with those melt-in-your-mouth ultra soft eggs. It's definitely a dish that would cure your depression.
