Some Things Never Change HDCD rip 20bit audio. (read description)

I'm sure a lot of you are aware of this, but STNC was released on the CD format called HDCD. When HDCDs are played with a compatible player it turns the bitrate from 16bit to 20bit audio. There is a way to rip the CD at 16bit and convert the file itself to have the HDCD 20bit quality. I did that with STNC today and it is an awesome improvement to the sound. Wanted to share with you all!

The file says 24bit but it's actually only 20bit. Still better than 16 though!

Clairo Electric Lady FLAC and WAV file download google drive

Don't ask how I got these haha. I hate Spotify and I think everyone should have access to these live in the studio tracks. Enjoy!

If you can't access these anytime in the future send me a message and I'll try to respond. They might not stay in my google drive forever but I will always have the files on my computer.

If you want them in MP3 format I can do that too.

Original Electra 2000 CD hidden track…

Bought this CD blindly at a record store today and surprisingly heard this song at the end. This was my first time listening to Hum. I don’t know what to think.

New Post Locations 👇

Looks like Claire is in Nashville doing some analog recording 👀

The studio is called Welcome to 1979, I’ve been in there before and recognize the interior. The pyramid is the Adventure Science Center building. I added a google image of the pyramid on the third slide. Excited for some new songs in the coming months 🙌

Found this in my grandpa’s basement

My grandfather used to sell music equipment in the 90s in a very small town, wasn’t expecting to find a treasure like this in there. I’m not sure what to do with it. I play guitar but I don’t know if I need such an expensive pedal in my collection. Might be better in the hands of a professional.

I used to have more but I sold them. I don’t always like the sound of the Japanese versions more. I much prefer American and German CDs, especially when it comes to the 80s and early 90s.
