Hi, I'm using Simatic Manager v5.7 and am trying to download to the plc. I keep getting the message "unable to reach the module via the online interface".
I'm connecting via ethernet. I can see the PLC there, I can ping to it, TCP/IP is selected as the PG. What else could be going wrong? All searches haven't been able to help. Thanks.
Hi, I'm trying to find out how to talk to the CPU313SC (313x6cf03). I've got Step 7 v5.7 and TIA Portal v17 and neither are listing exactly that model. I've exhausted my google! Thanks.
At work we have some newish equipment which was never used, it's now being disposed of. I have saved the S7 300 (CPU315F-2DP) from one machine and from the other I have saved a Speed 7 (CPU 313SC).
Now, the only free software I'm aware of is Codesys, will I be able to talk to these with Codesys and use ladder? the CPU313 has an ethernet port, like the Allen Bradley's I am used to, will this communicate to a computer as it is via the ethernet? I'm aware I may need something else for the 315F. Thanks.
