ADMISSION LETTER QUESTION

So I'm currently applying for my visa, and i need to attach my admission letter. In the admission letter it says, "...you can apply for the student visa at the chinese embassy or consulate in your country with this Admission Notification, confirmation Form for Study in china (JW202), the original copies of your physical examination record and your blood test reports." " DOES THIS MEAN I NEED TO DO THE PHYSICAL EXAMINATION RECORD AND BLOOD TEST OR ONLY ATTACH IT IFFF MY VISA REQUIRES IT? Cause for my visa I don't need a physical examination nor a blood test

Does anybody actually like ONLY MATCHA AND WATER

So the original way to drink matcha is literally water with matcha (obviously it needs to be whisked well so it doesn't have any clumps). It's also the purest way and the healthiest way. But does anyone like to drink it this way? I only know ONE person. Let me know your thoughts!!!

Why do some people leave a line of hair in a brazilian wax?

I don't know if this is the right subreddit to ask this question, but I've seen this in a few beauty salons, and I just don't see the point in leaving a line or a heart in the middle after a complete brazilian wax. No hate I'm just genuinely curious. Why do people do this?

Is Ryan Holiday a pop-stoic philosopher?

I might get hate, but since this is a stoic community, let's keep this peaceful and mature.

I've already read a few Ryan Holiday books about stoicism, and I really liked them. However, I'm currently reading "The lives of the Stoics." I'm halfway through, and I just can't anymore. The writing is very exaggerated, and I honestly find the way the book is written a little "cringy"? Also, sometimes I feel like he is contributing to the stoic Chad, bro social media movement that has been going on for the past 4 years (approx.).

Paradoxically, I think that his "Ego is the enemy" is maybe his best book, and every single person on the planet should read it at least once.

Question about when doing the sign of the cross.

I've seen men touching their belly in documentaries and in real life in orthodox churches after doing the sign of the cross. First I didn't pay much attention to it, but seriously, almost EVERY man does it; it can't be a coincidence, can it? So my question is, is this really a thing? What does it mean?

EDIT: i mean AFTER making the full cross. They expand the hand on their belly, sorry for not clarifying enough.

Weekday liturgies

Hi! So I'm visiting greece next week, and I can't go away without attending a divine liturgy in Greece. I'm Catholic, and we usually have daily masses, and I would like to know if divine liturgies are also celebrated daily. I've been searching for churches that do weekday divine liturgies, but I can't find the schedules! I'm not going to be there on a Sunday, by the way.

Does anyone have information or any recommendations? i

EDIT: sorry i didn't mention the place. It's Athens

So since I can remember, I've always been doing this structure before bed:

One guardian angel prayer, one Ave Maria, and one our father, then asking for help and saying thank you to our mother Mary and finishing with another Ave Maria.

But now I want to start changing this and do it my own way (adding other prayers, etc.). Are there any rules, or can I structure it the way I want?

I can't find online the whole lyrics of the Axion Estin chant. The only lyrics that i find is this:

Makarízin se tin Theotókon,
tin aimakáriston ke panamómiton
ke Mitéra tu Theú imón
ke timiotéran ton Cheruvím
ke endoxotéran asigrítos ton Seraphím
tin adiaftóros Theon Lógon tekúsan,
tin óntos Theotókon,
Se megalínomen.

However, I'm listening to it on spotify and there is more lyrics.

As a student, I've seen so many times that people often have a negative view on things that you can't apply directly in practical life. For instance, I will start my philosophy degree, and people usually say, "But it's not useful." (i've also been told other things, like I'll end up under a bridge, etc., but i don't really care because philosophy is my passion and my life.). There are many more examples.

I personally disagree with useful=good and unuseful=not good because I'm tired that in this modern world we constantly need to apply everything. Why not learn things to just feel intellectually fulfilled????
