Haha sword go brrrrrrr

So i was in attrition, using ronin, and i swear i got a sixth sense (rather i know the gamertag of my opponent and if it says they got a titanfall i know to dodge.)

Anyways, i phase away and dodge a titanfall. The pilot dashes into the dome sheild along with one of their allies.

And the just stared at me. And t bagged me.

Big mistake.

Some people dont know this, but this only works for ronin i beleive. But, if you get in the enemy dome sheild you can kill the pilot in it with melee. But your body has to be in the dome sheild so the sword is in it.

Anyway i slash those two pilots and t bag them. They left.

They rage quit. Then and there.

No u. Sword go brrrrrrrrrr

"Was that your dome shield? A barrier that shatters so easily against my power cannot save you from me!"

edit.

apparently thats not only ronin. other titans can punch and kill you through dome sheild?

eh its been a while since i played any other titan, and i heard it in a tips video a really long time ago. maybe im misremembering

How to remove this jammed/stuck screw

solution: hammer progressively larger torx heads into screw head, will eventually split the head off like a flower blooming. then the head is gone and it should be fine

I was dismantling an extendable leg from a desk, that is extendable via a gear. I want the bearings and gears, but the bearings are highest priority.

As the images show, there is a screw on top of the shaft. Tried to unscrew it (ensued i had the correct size bit and type) but it wouldn't budge. I could feel the bit bending but the screw didnt move.

Vice clamped the shaft down and tried to loosen it by twisting the gear, no luck. The clamp started slipping and grinding the shaft of the part off.

I want those two bearings and the screw is in my way. The red stuff is grease, not glue. I already removed most of the grease

EDIT:

I tried twisting the other way by suggestion of another helpfull user on here, in case its reverse threaded. Didnt work unfortunately

Used to be hex key hole, now its a circular hole. Fully stripped it.

also its a class 10.9 screw. so its strong

Edit 2

Tried heat and then a oversized torx that was hammered in.

Didnt work

I think i figured out the issue...

So i got a power strip from a friend that wasnt working.

Now i enjoy dismantling devices or repairing them (hence my name)

I plugged it in and turned it on. Both the 'protection on' and 'wiring fault' lights were on.

I opened it and found this.

So the varistor exploded? And burned?

But worse off, it was surrounded by 2 thermal fuses. That did not blow open.

I guess they were right, either you are the fuse, or you live long enough to become the fuse.

Yes that is scorch marks on the majority of the board.

Surprised to see the light that it was working to be on. But i didnt test my luck with that by plugging anything in.

Where do i put my personal fire extinguisher, and other PPE?

First i will apologize in advance, as i have autism so human interaction is challenging for me, and i am not the best at wording things. So sorry and you may need to re read a section on occasion to understand it better, though i will try my best to be clear and provide the needed information.

I have an at home junkyard, where i dismantle and scrap various machines and devices then use the parts to fix other devices or make new ones.

The floor is carpeted, and i have a decent stock of lithium batteries ( if they burn, im using a wood plate to move it onto another wood plate and covering it with some bin to deprive it of oxygen. I am well aware of what a class D fire can do and the problems with putting one out)

Anyway im a hobbyist, and i frequently do things like solder, or make hot arcs when testing power supplies that means i have many things that can cause fires or explosions (capacitors. That is the explosion risk. Mostly)

Out of caution, and realizing just how many ways this can burn, i got a second fire extinguisher, as the one in the kitchen is far away, and i also make circuits a lot so electrical fires are a big risk.

So i got an ABC dry chemical rechargeable extinguisher. I check pressure gauge weekly. I currently have it set on the ground, but somthing tells me thats not the best. Where to put it?

Should i put the other PPE next to it? Such as gloves, masks, ear protection, face shields, or goggles?

Im still a kid, so i am not the most experienced in emergencies but i am a scientist enjoyer, and i understand the physics that are the root of said emergencies and i like to run through lots of what if scenarios and to top it off, i have experience in advanced manufacturing techniques that require large saftey knowledge, such as blacksmithing, electrical engineering, thermodynamics, even how different explosives work and the difference between types of fires and and combustion things. Meaning fuel and all that.

Any suggestions are appreciated, as i am getting into more and more ambitious projects with similarly scaling risk factors. I also want to point out i never shirk saftey so dont assume i dont know how to be safe. Im just thinking worst case scenario, what do i have prepared.

Have a nice day fellow people! Stay safe out there!

Calling all ronin masters!

Does your ronin happen to be maxed out? Is it your favorite and most used titan? Is the leadwall the weapon that shows under the most played weapon stat? Do you run overcore-highlander or dadh engine-temporal anomaly in regular games and nuke-highlander in fronteir defense?

Can you beat a full health monarch while starting at low or doomed health?

Do you feel you are a true ronin master?

Do you want to team up with others like you, ronin masters?

Well, lets discuss our strategies and tactics here!

Or, if you want to play, i made a ronin mains clan titled RONIN MAINS with clan tag RONI
