Research to pad the resume is bullsh*t and I refuse to play the game

I hate research with my very core. I just recently took the MCAT and if someone told me I had the option of going on the hunt for research opportunities vs taking the MCAT 3 more times to get into med school, I would choose the latter.

I have an extensive professional career in different fields and research sits at the bottom in terms of value I derived from it and enjoyment. The whole process of research feels like slowly eating a pile of steamed horsed*cks. I truly believe it is an extremely low yield skill and experience and that being an experienced plumber is more valuable than having experience researching with regards to being a good doctor.

That said, I am applying to med schools with zero research. I refuse to do something I truly hate or dont have authentic interest in, and don't believe in, in order to pat my resume and increase my odds of getting in; I refuse to do something I hate that much in order to become the person I want to be.

At this point in my life, I plan on doing no (scholarly) research throughout my entire medical career and being a great doctor regardless, because I truly believe its an irrelevant experience and I am going to prove it through sheer badassery.

Help me construct a DO school list

(Hope this isn't the wrong subreddit to be posting in, if it is, sorry ill take it down).

Hey guys! I am applying this next upcoming cycle and have (and had) pretty much zero support in my journey.

I am hoping you guys can help me make a DO school list for an applicant like me to maximize chances of acceptance.

Im looking to make a like a list of 15 (if thats not asking too much)?

My criteria are:

  1. I would prefer a school with a lower cost.
  2. Not Caribbean/Puerto Rico/outside of mainland USA.
  3. Would prefer to stay in california but i'll move if I dont get accepted here.
    Thats all!

My stats are:
Mcat 508
Gpa 3.45
0 research
200 hours volunteering
3000 hours clinical (emt/ert)
3 years student org president
Neurobiology major.

What are my chances?

Hey guys, im considering applying this upcoming cycle and would appreciate your opinions.

Stats:
Mcat 508
Gpa 3.45
Student org president 3 years
EMT +2000hrs
ER Tech +1000hrs
shadowing 120hrs (spread across gen surge, ct, ortho)
Volunteering 200hrs
Absolutely 0 research!

My biggest concerns are the 0 research and low gpa.

Is it worth it to apply? Do i realistically have a shot?

Whats a scent you used to love but now cant stand?

My first designer and the first ever scent I TRULY fell in love with. Wore it for about 3-4 months but one day just couldn't stand the green and fig.

I don't know what happened but I just lost all interest in the scent and now its happening to my Prada L'homme.

At first I thought maybe the scent was going bad but now that the same thing is happening to my new Prada L'homme, I think its a me thing.

Now im working like heck to trade it/sell it for another freshie.

There are genuinely so many incorrect cards or nonsensical cards in this deck. I am loosing my mind. Please propose an alternative.
