I knew these cars had a torque dip at around 4k rpm but holy shit this car will deadass feel like it goes into neutral and I’m just reving it to make sound until it hits 5k. I’m not trynna spend more then like 1k$ total so what’s the cheapest way to fix it
I bought a 2013 frs as my first manual like a month ago but the clutch feels really awkward and hard to know where exactly the bite point is even after month of driving and people say the factory spring is the reason for that lmk if anyone has a aftermarket one and if it’s good
I just bought my first manual and it’s a 2013 frs 3 weeks ago so I don’t know how any other car is supposed to feel and I’m still kinda getting used to it but every gear kinda does this thing where I have to either slowly slide the gear in or else is feels like I gotta push thru some metal thing (or at least that’s how it feels like) and esp 5th gear it feels like every time I slide it in I get some metal resistance type thing that I don’t rly get as bad on my other gears. Ik this trams feels super direct but can anyone that knows manual cats more lmk how exactly a healthy trans is supposed to feel?
I have a 2013 frs and I’ve had it for only about a month now but I’m planning on getting CSG Spec Tein Flex A coilovers with summer tires and proformance alignment by next summer but that would run me like 3k and most of that is because of the 1,400$ coilovers. The backroads I usually drive on have slights bumps and stuff and the cheaper flex Z coils would probably wrap me around a tree when I’m pushing my car to its limits on corners because of the rubber bump stop so I can’t really get the cheaper ones. Anyone that had or has these lmk if their really that good for aggressive driving 🙏

I was reversing into a gas station in my 2013 frs and since this shit doesent have a backup camera I didint see this lil pole sticking out by the pump and scratched ts out my bumper, I just got it 2 weeks ago and well💔 what’s the best was to make this a little noticeable as possible cause I bought smth called “scratch x” so I’m hoping that will get most of it out but lmk if there’s a better way besides spending 500 for a repaint or whatever at body shop

I’m going to buy a first gen brz/frs/86 and will be driving it to its limits on backroads occasionally and maybe some drifting too but im scared of oil starvation. I have a couple right long sweepers at my local backroad and idk if this will deadass make my motor blow eventually and if I should 100% get a baffled oil pan.
