Beware of scammer

I want to share my experience with fellow reddtor from Hydrabad named Rahul to help others avoid a similar situation. Also i would highly appreciate if someone can reach out to this scammer and help me get my money back

I placed an order for multiple perfumes after fellow person confirmed stock availability and asked for payment. Trusting the deal, I transferred the amount as requested.

​

After receiving the money, communication changed completely. My calls and messages were either ignored or answered with excuses. I kept getting promises that the order would be shipped "tomorrow" or that there was a minor delay. This continued for days with no proper update.

​

Despite repeated follow-ups and giving him ample time to resolve the issue, there was no genuine effort to fulfil the commitment. The entire experience caused unnecessary stress and financial loss.

​

I have now reported the matter through the cyber crime portal and am pursuing the available legal remedies.

​

I'm sharing this only to warn fellow buyers: • Verify the seller before making payment. • Avoid full advance payments to unknown individuals. • Keep screenshots of chats and payment proofs. • Trust your instincts if someone keeps delaying with excuses.

​

If anyone here has dealt with the same Rahul or had a similar experience, please share your story. It might help others avoid becoming victims of such transactions.

This post reflects my personal experience and the facts as they occurred. I have supporting evidence of the transaction and communications and am sharing this as a consumer warning for the community.
