Quest 2 always connects as default audio and mic device

I got a new PC and every time I connect my Quest 2 it always acts as the default audio and mic device, no matter how many times I select my headphones and mic as default devices and default comms devices

Good frames in game but bad frames in mirror view?

So I'm playing Subnautica VR with Submersed mod. So far it works great, no stutters or lag, perfect smooth frames, around 7-8 ms no red spikes or anything, etc

But when I try to share/record the steamvr mirror view (because the game window has severely less fov, like actually half the game is missing) it looks like it's capped at 30 fps or less and it's really annoying

My PC has a R7 9800X3D, 9070XT, 32 GB RAM. Playing on a Quest 2 through cable (yes it's connected to a usb 3.0 or higher)

Does the mirror view have less frames if you don't have it fullscreen? Or is it something else?

I stream and record using OBS to Twitch

My mic volume is limited at -2, and is usually around mid yellows if not low reds, and I have my game volume limited at -24, right below the yellow zone

When I watch the vods or recordings I can hear myself loudly and clearly, and my voice is waaay above the game volume, so next stream I lower my mic gain by 1 db and up the game volume by 1db, only to get told that my mic volume is too low and the game is too high. Then I review the vods and I can still hear myself way above the game volume??

I've got a compressor and expander filters to adjust my voice, cuz I talk quietly, and noise suppression as well

Is Twitch just messing up the audio or what could be the problem?

In case it helps my specs are: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 9070XT, 32 GB RAM, Fifine K688 mic
