I messed up and I need help. I’m a 22 year old college student and I never thought this would happen to me.

I was selling something on Facebook marketplace, and a buyer reached out to me saying they were interested in buying. They claimed they zelled me, but their payment didn’t go through because it was sent from a business account so they sent me a number to call. I didn’t check and ended up calling the number where I shared my screen with them.

They claimed that I needed to send money to upgrade my account to a business account. I first sent them $513 of my own money via a PayPal link to them, claiming that I had upgraded to business Zelle. Then, after I sent the PayPal link, they had sent me a mobile check of 733 because of this. I inputted the copy of the text they sent me.

They tried having me send the 500 via cash app but that didn’t work for them so they had me transfer my money into my Wells Fargo. Then, they had me buy $600 of bitcoin from cash app and send it to them. After, they had sent me two additional checks summing to 1000 via mobile checks in my email claiming that I have to send it to them for a full refund for both me and the “buyer.” I deposited the money into my account, and then they proceeded to have my download apps like Cash App and chime to send the money. Luckily Cash App blocked the rest of the deposits I was trying to put in like (800, 500, 250). Then, when I tried chime, I had transferred 500 from my Wells Fargo to chime where I had sent 500.

Finally, I couldn’t send anymore cause my bank had reached the limit for withdrawals. They then sent an additional two $500 mobile checks, claiming that once it’s the next day, I will have to send them all the money for the full refund. After, they had told me to go to the store, where I was supposed to get $300 in door dash gift cards and send them a photo of the receipt. I assume they did this so when I sent the 1000 the next day, there wouldn’t be any limit from Wells Fargo. After I had bought the gift cards, I realized it was a scam and instantly stopped all contact and called Wells Fargo and Chase. Wells Fargo closed my account temporarily and Chase recommended to change my password. Now there are claims on both of my accounts.

I’m so dumb and I can’t believe I got caught by this scam.

I really need help right now because I’m worried my account will go negative.

I’m a current college student, and I was looking to get a new card. I currently have the Chase freedom unlimited, Chase freedom flex, and discover it.

I have 725 credit score and my longest credit card has been 3 years with discover it. I have tuition and rent to pay for during the school year, so I’d be able to be eligible for the SUB.

I was looking towards getting the sapphire preferred as a potential option.

I wanted to get the CSP for the 100K bonus before the bonus ends but I am not sure if I will get approved since the CFU on May 8. For reference, I have the freedom flex and freedom unlimited from chase, and my longest credit history is 3 years. I also have a 723 credit score.

Would it be worth it to get the CSP now or wait a little longer before opening it?

I'm an AZ resident, and I was thinking of applying to UW. I know UW favors in-state, and they also are open to accepting students from WICHE states. Is it worth it to apply to UW?

I'm from AZ, and I really only feel like applying to 6-7 schools. Essentially, I dont want to apply to a lot because the costs are too high, and I'd only want to stay near the west and southwest. I have a 4.0 sGPA and a 530/26 DAT, so I feel like I'm good in the stats department. I'm not trying to just flex stats, but I just don't want to shoot myself in the foot for not applying to more.

When I was doing my pre req matching for midwestern, they have two different sections to match the anatomy and physiology pre reqs. I am planning to do A&P 2 in the fall, but I accidentally matched my Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 class for both sections.

I just submitted my application and it hasn’t been verified. Does anyone have any advice on what to do?

Im a rising senior, and I have all the classes I'm taking for the Fall 2026 semester on my transcript. I have most of my prereqs finished and will be finishing them up this summer and the fall semester. I still have classes left to finish for the spring semester to graduate but I dont know exactlly what I will take yet. Do I need to put in the classes I am gonna in the spring 2027 semester even though its not on my transcript yet?

For the experiences section, I have one day of volunteering experiences, but every time I try to put in a date, it makes me put in an end date that can't be the same start date. Anyone have advice on how to put this down?

I had a question about entrying my classes into the ADEA application. I’m a rising senior, and I still have classes I need to finish. Do I need to enter the classes that I am planning to take in the spring even though it is not on my official transcript yet or do I just put only the classes on my transcript, including the fall 2026 classes. I have not finished my physics pre req and I am planning to take it in the spring, so do I put it for the spring semester even though it’s not on my transcript?

Which one is more worth to go if you had to choose one place?

For the past week, I haven’t been able to sleep straight for 8 hours, and I’m pissed. I always end up waking once at around 5 am to pee and then I wake up again at 7:15 AM even when I don’t want to. Even when I try to sleep for longer and go back to sleep, I can’t fall back asleep and keep laying in bed. I currently cut caffeine 12 hours before bed, take melatonin 3 hours before bed, take magnesium glycinate, not eat or drink anything 2-3 hours before bed, but nothing works and I don’t know what to do anymore.
