I know I’m not the first person to say this but gosh does online dating ever suck. I’m in my early 20s and I’m at a loss. The first line in my bio reads “no situationships or hookups” and none of my pictures are suggestive in the slightest bit. I’m sure I speak for many when I say I’m tired of being asked to send risky photos, being sent unsolicited nudes and boys asking to come over when we frankly don’t know each other at all. Personally it makes me feel like an unpaid sex worker LOL (being dramatic).
Fuck I can’t stand living with other people any longer. I expect the bare minimum and have done everything and more to chill out and be the roommate I’d want to have. The girl I live with has no regard for how fucking loud she is. I’ve nicely asked her to be mindful about how loud she is on the phone (which is everyday for hours on end) and I’ve asked her to let me know if my music or friends are to loud to try and set the standard. It’s 11pm on a Monday and she just now decides to start cooking dinner and talking loudly with her guest in the kitchen (mind you she’s been home all damn day and works a standard work schedule). She slams the cupboards, bangs around dishes etc. She knows I work early mornings as I’ve communicated so and still doesn’t give a care. My room is upstairs and hers is down and still with earplugs and/or the tv on I can still hear her. Not that I should have to live with earplugs in for the price I pay… anyways that’s my rant I wish people weren’t so fucking selfish.

I’ve always noticed that nurses etc. have Facebook pages, reddit subs things like that but I’ve never found anything specifically for EVS workers in hospitals. I’ve also noticed badge reels cups and stuff are always designed for basically everyone in the hospital but us. Has anyone come across pages for our line of work? If not I’d like to start one.

If anyone else here is on the Canadian dental care plan I’m looking for some clarification. I went to the dentist 7 months ago and my cleaning was fully covered however I went again this month and the same cleaning was only partially covered. According to the income threshold chart I should have been fully covered again because over the year I’ve only done 2 basic cleanings and my income is below $70,000… for whatever reason they only covered 40% of the visit and I said well hold on I definitely don’t make $80,000 to $89,999 a year so how can you charge me that and they just rushed me to pay and refused to explain.
