My friend Aja in high school in 2001, her brother worked in the studio that mixed and mastered Lateralus. She brought a copy on cassette to school to play for me a few days before the release as she and I were huge tool nerds.

I got into TOOL in 1999 hearing Pushit, Aenema and H. At a friends house.

I became obsessed. Rode the APC wave but loved TOOL.

Excitement is an understatement of what I felt when She passed me her walkman. I quickly put the headphones on and was sooo excited to hear new tool.

I held my breath as I hit play.

Some weird elevator sound and then grudge started

It sounded off and when maynard came in

“Weeeaaaaarrrrrrrrrr theeeeeeeughhhhhh grudgggeeeee likeeeeeughh crownnn” i was like yooo maynard sounds weird as fuck!! Is this even real? Sounds like a fake album.

Turns out her walkmans batteries were dying lolol so the walkman was playing the cassette super slow!

Ended up skipping class and getting batteries. And the rest is history. Made copied for everyone that would give the album a listen.

Drove around with friends playing the holy hell out of that cassette.

Met Megan after the show briefly and she signed my
Ticket! What a wonderful person! What a fantastic show! Visuals were absolutely stellar.

Amazing extended intro. Crowd singing along in unison. Maynard nailing every note imagineable. Danny shaking the orchestra pit with his bass drum. Justin bringing the fire. One of my all time performances of the band I was fortunate enough to witness. Crowd was something else that night in that small theater. Alex Grey was present and was willing to shake hands and sign autographs. What a night.

Ive been to DMH in February 2025 to see Lauren Mayberry from CHVRCHES! It was during a snow storm!

Easy to prepare

Directions are accurate

Noodles were soft and adequate tenderness

Sauce was plentiful and creamy

Plain taste. Tasted like nothing. Tried to jazz is up with parsley and black pepper.

Wegmans garlic bread because I love carbs

Vegetarian here, so I ordered fries and some apple pies.

I’ve been dying to try the new peppercorn sauce. I asked at the window if I could have a side of peppercorn sauce, and she said that they’re really not supposed to give it out, but I said that I’m not a meat eater and was curious to try it. She then said “for you….I’ll do it, I’m not supposed to, but for you, I will.”

She returned with a overwhelmingly large side of the peppercorn sauce. I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m definitely taste good. That’s very flavorful and lots of herbs. The peppercorn almost tastes like a garlic aïoli. I expected some bite to it, but there’s no heat at all. The Zesty sauce is much spicier I feel like.

In the end I alternated between the Zesty and Peppercorn!

I give the peppercorn sauce a 6.5 out of 10

Tons of cheese

Baked on 350 for 30 minutes with foil on

Stir

Baked another 10 min and enjoyed the cheeeese

Garlic bread because I love carbs!
