Paddle shifter

Do you know how can I reduce more the space to match the distance of the T598 paddle shifters? I have already removed the spacers

Recommended Gloves for the 32R Leather wheel

A Friend recommended me this pair of gloves but idk if the material is good or bad for my steering wheel.

What should I look for when choosing a pair of gloves?

Replacement or Repair

So the left paddle shifter it's broken, I had this wheel for 1 year and then it died. I noticed that the paddles were attached to a simple plastic thing so idk if it's worth repairing it or buy a new one.

I'v never downshifted aggressively in all my simracing experience, my fingers wouldn't last 1 minute.

Should I upgrade to a Evo Racing 32r to be safer, or is the build quality the same of the T598 Sportcar Wheel?

I don't want a gt style wheels cuz I'd like to drive different cars.

Could wider tracks improve racing and reveal more driving styles?

Opinion:

I think motorsport is more interesting when more drivers start to battle eachother instead of when a driver shows how fast is he, for example in qualifying.

Some 4 car wheel racing series doesn't usually see a lot of battles that last for a lot of laps and most of the overtakes seems to be very short and almost identical. So I thought: could be the track the problem? What if the track was wider, like 2 times more wider than the original measure.

Imo I think the drivers are limited to the possibilities and to the moves they can do based on the track and not only from the car, for example why do so many corners not allow 2 cars or even 3 to go side by side, it would be crazy and the battle would being much more into attention the driver and less the car, lowering the gap between the performance of the machines.

A wide track and especially a Wide corner would allow many more attempts and we would see many more battles and many more driving styles from the drivers.

I'm always amazed by the variety of play style football allows, so I wondered why motorsport couldn't do that more often.

Why do Markers randomly double in edit page?

Why my markers gets doubled in my edit page after entering Fusion and opening the Keyframe panel and Why do they lose color in fusion when I switch between edit page and fusion?

Why does this happen?

Beginner. When I use the curve, why does it go a few frames early mantaining the same lenght? Can I edit the curve without affecting the start and the finish of my clip, but not the lenght? I tried to use Ripple Timeline but I don't nkow how to avoid cutting the audio.

Confused with the Keyframes

Absolute beginner. Why is the last keyframe not able to rewind the clip when I try to assign a negative number in the speed section?

It doesn't matter what I do, the number gets automatically changed to a positive number, speeding forward instead of going backwards, but the other keyframes behaves normally.

Where is my Keyframe Curve Graph?

Hi, do you know why this happens? I changed my speed with keyframes but I can't see any curve to edit. I'm a beginner.

Process Lasso works but it's not enough

System:

Ryzen 7 5800X OC

Gigabyte 4070S OC

32 GB Ram

3440x1440 AOC 180 Hz

My fps went from 100 to 140 avg in this race with AI, but in online race I see it go down to 60 fps sometimes. In Free Practice I can do 200+ fps.

I tried to use Process Lasso to shift the work from the first core to another one, but I only made the game smoother without improving the performance.

Any tips?

Can FH6 match this?

I told you cruising and photo mode can be addictive!

(for those thinking I'm making a comparison, don't worry, as a car guy I like both titles, in fact I do collect multiple sim and arcade titles. I just wanted to know if FH6 could match the same vibes you can fill in this cool game)

(I find kinda crazy that I have to clarify this, or people see this innocent post as an insult)

Any advanced way to change the wheel settings?

This is my situation.

So it's been a year since I bought the game and my experience with a steerong wheel has been underwhelming. I'm running with all disabled assist, only abs is on, but I can clearly see there is something wrong with the input. The steering wheel doesn't do every single movement I do and the pedals start to receive a signal after I press them for 50% of their travel. I tried to receive help from Ubisoft but while the Discord team treid to help me, the official bug report I did has been completely ignored.

So my only solution for now is to either continue playing with the terrible inputs made by Ubisoft or to edits some files in the game.

Do you know which file can I edit? Do I risk a ban by doing so?

P700: Any DIY idea for reduce pedal travel?

I just got this set this week and after hours of tweaks I felt comfortable with the plate tilted in their stock angle.

One thing I find annoying is the long throttle and clutch travel and I noticed there is this bar which decide where it ends. Do you have any idea on how I can change that?

I can't change the angle because if I do I get a huge pain in the ankle.

A good reminder to NOT use only a single strip

My T818 used to disconnect while driving. Why? Because my dumb ahh decided to plug the PC the Monitor and the steering wheel to the same strip. The maximum wattage was respected but not the maximum current flow (My strip could deliver 16A but my whole setup whole get higher reaching theoretically near 20A), and as a result my screen would flicker or my T818 would disconnect mid driving. Don't be like me, the base might not be broken, never connect high power devices to the same strip.

It's been almost a year since I bought the game and the only thing I truly wanted was to drive the cars on a big map with my steering wheel. When i treid the demo I instantly noticed the steering wheel wasn't fully direct and it reacted as I enabled steering assist. The worst part for me were the pedals, I couldn't drive normally cause the game was only registering some movements only after getting past 50% of pressure. It's truly frustrating because the game content is really fun and as a Sim player I really liked this arcade game. I obv tried to contact ubisoft for support and for a whole month the discord crew followed my case asking for a bunch of files and for in game settings. But after they weren't unable to solve the issue on discord they advised me to share my case on the bug report page. It's been more than a month since I published my case, but I never got any response. Will Ubisoft ever do something, especially considering that this is a common problem for a lot of user with steering wheel controllers.
