How do you find dates these days?

I haven't dated for a long time. 23F, last time dated was 16, it was brief and also because my friends encourage to give a go, I did not have feelings for that person (my friends told me that I make decision before getting to know a person so I should date that person, maybe I will come to like them later, well, It did not happen).

I haven't dated for long and now I start to question what is like to date someone you like.

I want to be back to dating

But apps seriously are terrible. I mean I don't feel comfortable dating people from those apps.

For any of you who are dating, how did you meet your partner?

Good study cafe in VN?

Looking for a place to work/study after work hours.

Somewhere specifically dedicated to work/study.

Local cafe brands (Highland, etc.) are great but I'm looking to explore more.

In HCM city, any suggestions?

Also, are there any programs for work/study buddies? Sort of like accountability partner. Am looking for one now.

As I grew up, I started to question how my parents afford to raise me

I'm working full-time. Barely survive, barely save. Got multiple skills my parents got me to learn but tried and failed multiple time in monetizing them.

When I was young I thought, they didn't buy me this, they didn't buy me that.

Now I think damn, what am I gonna do to afford my child the childhood I had.

My childhood was nothing fancy: schools, extracurriculars, summer bbq. But I wonder if I can even provide my children with that.

Have been working for 3 years but so far only saved up 6 months runway (for me only), not even thinking about building a family in this age and era.

The economy is in such a depressive moment lately. Every time I open a LinkedIn, there is a layoff notice, 'open to work'.

Feeling depressed lately. I wish it was just as simple as after a 9-5 I get a freelance job and yet, it's so far from reality. Worked hard, grind, got my first job not in the industry I graduated for, got paid $230-$300 a month - it was not enough for even where I lived. Took a leap, went to be an intern, same pay, 2 years of grind, got to the specialist role, when AI massive layoff happened. Less junior roles, everywhere you go, layoff. Got into a company - got a specialist role but I'm so stressed out because of AI.

• Hired => Stressed out not knowing when you will be layoff while you have rent to pay
• Unemployed => Stressed out because of not having a job

Today I opened LinkedIn and practically not seeing any job posts for my position makes me so stressed out & depressed

How are you guys doing?
