starting a diploma of community services, so confused rn

hi all, i’ve enrolled into a diploma of community services at hawthorn and i need some help regarding the building locations and stuff. even though i haven’t started my course, can i come into swinburne to figure out where my classes will be? i was also wondering if i will gain anything at all from the open day or if its mainly targeted towards bachelor students. also, on my first day am i just like expected to know where everything is? is there like any sort of orientation day/week for diploma students??

i’m super nervous about starting, and i can’t believe it’s already less than a month away 🥲

finished a puzzle, can i display it without frame?

i recently finished a puzzle which is quite an odd size, it’s 60cmx60cm and i haven’t been able to find a frame that fits and is in my budget, i’m desperate to display it and have stuck the back using jigsaw paper, i was going to use command strips to stick it to the wall but im scared of the pieces falling off or the actual puzzle just coming off the wall, when transporting the puzzle a few pieces have plopped off here and there but it was an easy fix

if anyone has any suggestions or experience with this please let me know!

UPDATE: i put it up, i am now constantly living in fear that it will fall off

how to get better at blowjobs?

i’m just gonna get straight into this, my boyfriend has quite a girthy penis and sometimes i struggle to give him blowjobs and i fear that im not good at them even tho i really enjoy giving them. hes never complained or given me any reason to believe that im bad but i do sometimes accidentally graze my teeth on his dick and i’m sure it’s quite uncomfortable, just any tips for me to improve would be great since i really enjoy giving them!!

it’s mainly the occasional teeth grazing thing, but any overall tips for blowjobs in general would be great :)

edit: another thing is he takes a long time to cum, always has and it’s not a skill issue on my part i know when he’s by himself it takes a little while, but sometimes i get paranoid that it’s because of me or something, even though he reassures me that it isn’t. usually like 10 minutes or smth maybe even more

should i snitch on a coworker not rotating dairy? or is it not that deep

as the title suggests, i work in the dairy/freezer department and one of the casuals that works sometimes literally never rotates, and he is open about the fact that he doesn’t rotate, idk if this is a big enough deal to bring forward to my department manager or if i should just let it slide, some things i understand dont always need to be rotated if they have the same date or the date is different by a day or so but i have literally never seen him do it

i also dont want to come across as a snitch or anything either but idk if this is a genuine health concern

how to encourage my partner to continue job hunting when it’s so bad atm

we are both 18, going on 19. i’ve had a retail job for 3 years and he hasn’t had any experience due to other extracurriculars and now because he has literally no experience he is struggling to find a job, many job applications and only one failed interview, he’s a full time uni student too so that doesn’t help. a part of me is frustrated that he hasn’t found a job but at the same time i know how brutal it is and i know how much it sucks for him - he also doesn’t want to bullshit his resume or get a job through a friend or through me (even though that’s the best way to do it) but i can’t convince him.

what can i do to encourage him to keep searching? and how can i keep this frustration under wraps

helping dog with dental disease and support in the final few weeks/months of life

i already made a post similar to this recently, i’m just looking for some community and reassurance i guess

i have a mixed pug aged 13-16 (she’s a rescue) and it is becoming clear to me that she is coming towards the end of life. she is slowing down, confused and can’t make it all the way outside to go pee - also hasn’t been pooping very much.

she also has quite severe dental disease and plaque buildup, she has had this since we rescued her and we have had some teeth removed but it is now affecting some more teeth. i don’t know if i should take her to the vet? its something not really in my budget right now which is horrible i know, i just dont want my baby to be in pain, j noticed today she was chattering her teeth as well which is what prompted me to make this post. is the vet even worth it? it’s not like they can do much she is very old and getting frail.

pls if there’s anything i can do to make my baby’s last few moments special and make her feel loved it would be greatly appreciated. :)

referring a friend/family member for a job at coles

hi all, i have a friend who is looking for work but is struggling due to availability (he can only do evenings so i figured nightfall would be good) and i was thinking about referring him to a manager or something but it feels like a kinda awkward process, firstly it would have to be at a coles closer to him and not my coles, and i’ve also looked over the “refer a mate” program but it only had like management positions or places really far away so no luck there. i also want to add my department manager has connections to a store closer near my friend, should i go to him or the store manager instead?

any help would be greatly appreciated, just want to know how this works and if it’s an opportunity!!
