What were the physical and mental changes stopping marijuana?

Sooo today is officially Day 1 of my break from cannabis. I have no more weed around and don’t plan on buying.

I know we all have different bodies, brains, and chemistry, but for those of you who have taken a couple weeks or a month off, what were the first things you noticed?

Did you notice any physical or mental changes? Better sleep? More energy? Changes in mood, appetite, anxiety, motivation, facial etc.?
What was your experience taking a break from the devil’s lettuce? 🌿😂

Anyone notice face changes & weight loss while smoking marijuana?

I’ve noticed that whenever I smoke weed, I get really dark circles under my eyes and feel like I look weak or sickly while I’m high. I’ve also lost some weight recently.

I was reading that weed can affect appetite and weight differently for some people, and I’m wondering if it can also contribute to looking frail or having a more sunken/tired appearance.

For anyone who has quit or taken a long break from weed, did you notice your face or overall appearance return to normal after a while? If so, how long did it take?

Does smoking marijuana make face look washed out & tired?

Whenever I smoke I feel I get almost a sickly washed out appearance. It’s like I develop really dark circles, pale lips/face & an overall “dazed weak” look in my eyes until I sober up. Could it be from smoking flower? Or is marijuana actually dropping blood pressure, etc.? How did your face change physically when you stopped smoking for a period of time?

I think I’m finally realizing that weed just isn’t good for me anymore.

Lately I’ve been paying closer attention to how weed affects me, and I don’t like what I’m noticing.
When I smoke, I get lazy, unmotivated, and stuck in my head overthinking everything. I can also feel physically off—weak, anxious, sometimes even uncomfortable in my body. But once the high wears off, I usually feel clearer, more like myself, and more grounded again.
The problem is I still end up going back to it out of boredom, even though I know it tends to make me feel worse overall. I keep wishing I could have the positive, relaxed experience other people seem to get, but that’s rarely how it goes for me.
I’m starting to feel like I want to stop for good, but I’m stuck in that cycle of knowing it doesn’t help me, yet still returning to it.
For those who have quit, did you notice a real improvement after the initial adjustment period? Did your motivation, energy, and sense of self come back?
I don’t drink or use anything else, so I’m really hoping to figure out what life feels like without weed. I think I’m ready to find out who I am sober.
