Any good dub packs around?
Looking for some heavy stuff that my mates don’t have, any recs would be appreciated. UKG / 140 / breaks, anything that’ll shake the floor.

I thought the loop encoder on the opus quad was strange, but since the product was an alternative to the AZ, which stayed true to the layout / features of CDJs I didn’t give it much more thought. Now the the CDJ-1500x and the AN both feature the loop encoder and the 8 hot cues above the jog it makes me think that this is going to be the format going forward.
Was just about to pull the trigger on a pair of xdj-1000 mk2s, but if they’re going to ditch the buttons I’m thinking the 1500s might be the better purchase, to practise using the new loop system.
That being said I’m still rocking up at some clubs & being put infront of NXS2s so maybe I’m trying to solve a problem I won’t have.
Thoughts?
I am obsessed with multi cell horns I think they look so cool, but as anyone knows they are just not appropriate for smaller rooms. My thoughts are most of the comb filtering is going to come from reflections if they are placed parallel 2m apart in a 4m wide room (4x5m room, listening from various places). So if I treat the room with panels and carpets & all the usual studio tricks will this reduce the comb filtering?
Any other ideas are welcome.
I know the obvious option is to use a CD horn, if there’s no way to make multicells sound good this is what I will do.
I am planning on building a pair of 2 way speakers with a sealed box and an 8 cell horn mounted on top, for my living room. No dedicated listening spot, hence the horns.
I know 99% of people who make this kind of music now do it on a laptop but I’m a tactile bloke, I have a few analogue synths but they’re not capable of nasty warps, anybody got any recs for fm / wave table hardware that is good for garage / jungle style basses, or any resources online for the subject?
