Any tips for improving sandbag to shoulder?

Was pretty excited to get access to a 300# bag and this was my first try at it. I have a comp at the end of the month and for one of the events I want to try to shoulder a 300# bag 3 times in under a minute. I feel like I'm not quite there yet looking at this video, and I'm sure there are ways to improve my form that might help.

Finally finished my first set of armor

Pretty happy with how it turned out. I've made small armor pieces here and there, but these last few months I decided I try my hand at a larger set. A friend of mine ended up buying it to wear to the upcoming renaissance festival, and is the one modeling it here.
