Rambler chug cap not durable?

Rambler chug cap not durable?

Maybe it’s just me but has anyone else experienced the cap not lasting more than a year? I don’t over tighten and the threads wear out within a few months. Surely they should last more than that? Not interested in spending $15 every few months for just a lid.

Cox absolutely sucks!

3 outages within the same amount of months and I’m sick of it. It’s out now and they won’t be able to come out until Tuesday morning. Allo worked great when I lived in Lincoln but they are incredibly frustrating to even get service in Gretna. What about Verizon? T mobile? What are some other options for wifi. I need about 1-2g with the device load we have.

Faint thud sound

What could this faint thud sound from behind throttle body/ intake manifold be? Fairly certain it’s not rod knock or lifters as those are much louder and in different locations. It’s faster than the ticking/sewing machine sound by about 2-3x. No check engine lights and drive normal. 256k 2015 5.3

Couldn’t pass up some reels on sale. Planned to get a bunch more but got cart sniped. All are incredibly smooth out the box and almost silent. Time will tell how the Vanford line roller holds up. The hard part is finding rods. I have an excel sheet with about 40 rods I’m looking at. 😮‍💨
