I had the flu when I took my Epic pass picture and look like I’m dying. I was on the phone with Epic just now about something else, so I asked if I could change it.

And I can! Not online though. If I go to the ticket counter at a ski resort with my license AND MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE, I can change it.

My birth certificate. To change a picture on a ski pass, like what in the everloving fuck is that 😂

*Edited to add - I don’t give af about my picture, I was asking as an aside. I do however think that asking for a birth certificate to change picture on a ski pass is crazy talk.

I've been riding this route for over a decade and now it's closed to bikes? This THE gateway on dirt to the entire trail network west of 36? What gives?\

ETA: There was a sign I didn't read because there was a group of befuddled riders stopped there who all said the sign said it is permanently closed. They all said it indicated the closure is permanent. This was preceded by the moving of a large boulder (the size of a small boulder, obviously) to block the route to the left of the gate. I think this happened last week. I think they are claiming they don't want people sneaking into the res and evading the fee. Odd comments that I'm somehow making this up.

ETA II: I rode through and no one stopped me

Got a pair of the medium turn in a 183 last season and absolutely loved ripping them on-piste (not racing them) but I now have a hankering for a shorter turn radius ski for next year. Anyone have the ST? I figure I might as well go with the RC4 if I like the MT.

Can someone please explain the difference (if there is one) between the OG cruiser ride and whatever it is that the high school kids have started up?

I've heard that the wealthy sponsors of the festival basically made a hostile takeover of the Roots Music Project's management and ownership of the festival. Is this accurate? Strange message from the fest a week ago:

"Hi [OP],

Your spot at Boulder Music Fest this August is secure and the festival is full steam ahead. We're making a behind-the-scenes change to how the festival is organized, and as part of that your tickets are being re-issued under a new ticketing account. Specialize in SMI, *specifically* psychotic disorders and go into private practice. I don't know why, but this is THE most difficult or impossible psychiatry referral for me to make. That said, I'm also curious about why there are so few specialists in this area. FWIW I find this to be one of the most interesting, challenging and dare I say...enjoyable groups to work with as a clinical psychologist (also private practice) and it's so so so key to have a competent psychiatrist on the team.

But why? Obviously the room sounds incredible live, but these sound far better than other LPs. Is someone else mixing the final product? Is there more room in the mix than other LPs?

Night three made it back to the hotey with no damn phone. I could see it was near or at the Sphere on my other device but no way was this custy walking back. Cue 6am panic wakeup. Dragged my weary shitass back to the throbbing orb as John and Jane Q Public were lining up for the early Wizard show. Was directed to the lost and found desk and within 3 minutes the nice lady said they HAD MY PHONE! They brought it up in a sealed bag and had me sign paperwork and I was on my way. Amazing! Guard told me they have a 98% return rate on lost items because of the insane surveillance system in place. Homie from Baltimore who came searching for your phone as I was leaving, I hope you had similar success.
