Not trying to come across as judgemental or anything. I'm an atheist, it all seems silly to me, but one thing that has always interested me was how many loopholes I've seen people talk about when it comes to Judaism.
What sparked the question was seeing a video talking about 'Eruv'.
When it comes to rules in religion the majority seem to be in two camps, the first is 'This is our gods law so we must follow it' and 'Those rules were written for a different time/new testament means we dont have to follow those rules anymore' but Judaism seems to have a lot of things they seemingly are forbidden from doing that is overcome with a loophole / technicality.
It stands out so much to me because I would think that an all knowing/all powerful god wouldn't be okay with a gotcha
So I am considering buying the DLC. I had two questions I couldn't find answers for during my brief search. Firstly, can I jump right into the DLC or do I have to go through the main game first (I've already finished the main game) and secondly, length wise, how long is the DLC compared to the main game
So for those who are unaware, the Leyak are creatures from Balinese mythology and there are actually three of them. The Leyak, Krasue and Penanggalan.
My main reason for this suspicion is looking more into the Penanggalan, it is said that from afar it 'twinkes like a ball of flame'. Apt for the tropical themed DLC methinks?
So I'll just preface this by saying that I love everything DF has given us with ABF and if it turned out to be a one shot I will still be incredibly happy. I've gotten 300 hours since playing in EA so I definitely got my moneys worth.
My biggest concern is the story going forward. Maybe I'm just misremembering, but early on in development, when people discussed what comes after, the consensus seemed to be that once 1.0 came out the goal was to eventually continue on.
This made sense because there were so many things left to deal with. Are we going to try to fix what happened because of the Wayseeker? Cahn is out there, perhaps we should try to find him. Where is manse? Most importantly, SURELY we are going to help Janet find Abe?
But come 1.0 it seems that there are no longer plans for these plotlines to be explored? Maybe I'm just 'reading the room' wrong but the things that happened at the end of the game feel like things that should be looked into and not just "Oh well, that happened"
Maybe I'm just misinformed, so if that's the case I'd love to be corrected but from what I've read it seems that the plans are to tie up loose ends in the mid game and not continue on
So this was a goated mod and it hasn't been updated to 1.0 and no longer works. Does anyone know of any alternatives that remove placement restrictions? I wan't to make my base look nice but everywhere I want to place things gets red hologrammed 😞
