As the post title suggests. I'm 40, have 3 kids, and live in a rural area of Pennsylvania. There's not much do to here, and my free time is limited, but I have found myself outgrowing the friends I grew up with (sadly their idea of a good time is drinking and drugs and that is not my life anymore)

My hobbies tend to be solitary ones. I read a lot, I game, I enjoy Magic the Gathering (I play on Arena because it's a lot easier for me) so its hard for me to forge any friendships over my interests that aren't just fleeting social media interactions.

So anyway, that's me. Hey.

I have a trade in card that still has $40 on it and I want to get something from the PS store.

I see that you can't use it for a digital code online, but there are posts saying you can in store, but these posts are from 2-3 years ago.

Anyone able to set the record straight?

I'm really struggling here. I get that it's supposed to be tough since it's the end of the game, but not being able to start the run from any previous biomes really seems to ramp up the difficulty, and it seems like the weapon drops here are just not good.

One thing I cannot bring myself to do is use modifiers to decrease the difficulty. It just doesn't feel right.

Anyone got any tips?

Edit: I did it! Thank you for your tips and encouragement. Saving the containers until I was ready for the boss fight and trying a different weapon I hadn't used much before was the key.
