"Do you feel lucky, punk?" Lokhust Heavy Destroyer, my version anyway...

Hovering above the battlefield, a true Trojan of the Necron - The Lokhust Heavy Destroyer! At the risk of causing outrage, I don't care for the design of Lokhust Heavy Destroyers, or any of the Lokhust figures for that matter - there's something of the "futuristic mobility scooter" about them that looks incredibly lame to me. I of course wanted to add one or two (modified versions) to my circus army, and I was lucky enough to find a selection of spare parts for the kit online. My plan from the outset was to take the enormous gun, and place it in the hands of a diminutive Necron Warrior - and who better to take up the challenge but a staple of every great circus, the dwarf act? There's still bits and pieces to add to this model, I need to connect the enmitic exterminator via ahose to the warrior, I'll probably fashion this from wire, I also want to place a VDU of some sort where the limb of the original Necron would be attached to the weapons barrel, maybe a bead or something to represent an "8 ball" style navigation / positioning device. The balloon I've made from green stuff is just a stand in - I think I might be able to find a ready made replacement for it in a craft shop or similar. Notes on detail, the yellow plate on the enmitic exterminator indicates this warriors particular unit (it corresponds with the balloon.) The balloon itself is of course a fake, a decoy object designed to draw enemy fire. The real motive power is secreted in the pilots oversized headgear...

Necron "Immortal Mime Unit" - white too white?

Just finishing up the second member of this five man unit (armed with invisible weapons) and I'm proceeding with a "less is more" ethos on this one as I think I went overboard with the wash and dry brushing on the first attempt (also I think some silver got mixed in with the wash...) Anyway just wanted opinions on the two finishes, "grubby white" (L) or a more pristine finish(R)?

Was there any significance to the "Neh Neh Neh Neh Neh" noise that Clarence makes?

I wondered if it was in reference to the targeting sounds of an arcade machine or Atari game or something like that?

Picture Hanging Equation?

I'm not very good at maths, but I recently hung four framed prints on my all that look really good. I was wondering if there was a simple equation that I could use in future for different sized groups of frames? Details: the four frames are all 24x28cm, the four wall fixtures (nails in this case) are spaced 30cmx35cm apart - this is the relationship I feel might hold the pattern or ratio.

Repotting Mistake?

Hi all, I may have misunderstood some advice on repotting - I had this "mis-shapen" plant that I wasn't fond of, so I replanted it with half the cactus under the soil (see wonderful illustration 😁.) Will this work? It's only been a few days in it's new situation and I was worried it might rot.

Columbo's best comeback line

I'm making my own Columbo season 1 - 7 DVD inlay card and I'm looking for a retort (not necessarily "in episode") to put in the indicated spot...

Hi all, I'm looking for your best, most peculiar quotes from classic Columbo (1968 -78) One of my favourites is "The Bull was the murder weapon, sir, like a gun." Quotes from any characters, not just Columbo - as long as they're memorable.
