Hello!

I have an Xbox series x and a ps5. Since I made one gen on 360 and the other ps4, I have games on both libraries.

I had a PC in the meantime with games on Steam, but I don’t want the PC anymore.

I also have a Switch 2, I tend to take a lot of games on it but unfortunately they don’t all come out on this one...

So I’m currently wondering where to get my third-party games.

Do I keep filling my library on ps5 or the one on Xbox?

In fact, I’m trying to have one main platform and the other for its outsiders (since Xbox is moving back towards outsiders, the question arises).

What do you think? I suspect there will be several opinions, but if you have any arguments, I would be open to it 😊

Hey, I'm 33 and I've been a hardcore gamer forever—I've always had a PC and pretty much every console out there. But ever since the Switch, I found myself actually preferring games on it, even though I'd still grab them on Xbox or PS because they looked and ran better. But after years of going back and forth, things have finally shifted.

My kid is turning 3 and started school today. Naturally, our whole schedule got completely flipped upside down, and it's hit me that I just don't have the time anymore to park myself at my desk or in front of the TV for long sessions. Between the new routine, the evening scramble for dinner, and just being exhausted, it's become impossible to fire up the Xbox during the week to actually play anything.

On the other hand, I managed to grab the Switch twice today for 10–15 minutes to play Pokopia, and Red Dead Redemption 1 yesterday. No toxic trophy or achievement grind, no forced social gimmicks, just simple, joyful gaming.

So yeah, I'm done hesitating about getting my games on Switch 2. I finally realize this is the way I'm actually going to get to play on weekdays.

I'm super glad to have a console that slots right into family life and to finally join all the other parents playing on it. It all makes total sense to me now 😁

I always hesitated to buy an Apple TV and now I just saw that the price was going up.

I have a Sony xh9005 TV and I use the TV’s built-in apps. I bought 3 movies from the Apple TV app.

Will the box really make a huge difference in quality on these movies as well as on applications like HBO, Disney, Twitch etc?

I hesitate to take Hyrules warrior: the chronicles of the seal

So I did the first hyrule warrior, I loved it but I never finished it because it’s so long. However, I had to spend 100-150h on it.

I also did the second one, which I really liked, but didn’t finish either because of the slowdowns and some technical problems.

The last one looks great but I’m afraid it’s super short... I can’t tell if the DLCs have been added to the lifespan. However, the gameplay videos I saw amazed me with their technique.

What can you tell me about it?

I am currently 33 years old and my dad.

Since I was very young, I started using consoles. I built my PC when I was 12 and played on it until I moved in with my wife.

At that time, both in terms of finance and practicality, I grabbed a console.

Given how the market is evolving, I’m hesitant to go back to my PC.

I have an i5 12400f, an rtx 3060ti and 32 GB of RAM. I suspect that the next consoles will be very expensive, so I’m thinking about improving my PC...

I’m not very wealthy, of course 😅 my first purchase would be an SSD because for games I don’t have any more room on my main one.

Knowing that I will always have my switch 2 because I love playing on it 🙂 and I also point out that I know IT really well, it’s my second job, so no worries about that.

Since the one/ps4 generation, I have an Xbox for all games and a PlayStation for third-party games.

But right now, with everything happening at Xbox, I’m hesitant to keep taking my third-party games on it honestly... At any given moment, I feel like everything can change. Unless I’m wrong?

Currently, I have 2 x series (one for myself and one for my partner) with a PS5. I could resell a series x for a PS5 to continue sharing my future game library. But I admit that it’s complicated to choose, and I must not be the only one...

For years I have always had (on console, not on PC) the Xbox as the main platform and a PlayStation as a secondary one for its exclusions. My wife also has an Xbox so we can play together.

However, currently it’s complicated among the greens. We don’t really know what the next Xbox will be like (another Windows configuration, how little has been sold, did you opt for a devs? A console?), everything is blurred...

Except that now I want to buy my games but I hesitate where to take them. On PlayStation, the model will still be the same, so no worries, but at Xbox I’m afraid that at some point it’s an inaccessible platform or that it receives few games...

What would you do?

(No PC, I know what I’m talking about but I can’t be bothered to solve optis problems...)
