Self published on Kindle

My debut novel, The Girl Who Only Spoke on Sundays, is currently on Amazon Kindle.

It's a contemporary romance about two people, 620 days, and the ordinary moments that slowly become unforgettable.

After spending the last year writing and revising it, it's surreal to finally share it with readers.

If you decide to give it a chance, I'd love to hear what you think.

A moment in time

After years of writing poems, notes and half-finished drafts, I finally published my first novel.

It's called The Girl Who Only Spoke on Sundays.

The story follows two people whose relationship grows through conversations, shared music, poems, inside jokes, and a weekly ritual that slowly becomes the center of their lives.

Sunday was all they had.

He turned a limitation into a ritual.

I wanted to write a love story built around ordinary moments rather than dramatic twists. One that explores waiting, emotional intimacy, grief, friendship and the ways people become important to each other over time.

For those who have published independently or read debut novels, I'd love to hear your thoughts on what makes a relationship-focused story memorable.

Announcement

Hi everyone,

I'm from Bhagalpur, Bihar, and after spending the last few years writing in my free time, I've finally published my first novel on Kindle.

It's called The Girl Who Only Spoke on Sundays.

It's a contemporary romance about two people, 620 days, and everything that happens in between. What starts as a Bumble conversation slowly turns into a story about distance, friendship, grief, hope, poetry, and the small moments that end up changing our lives.

The story is set in modern India and is built around a simple idea:

Sunday was all they had.

He turned a limitation into a ritual.

As someone from Bhagalpur, it feels special to share this milestone with people from home first.

If you enjoy relationship-driven stories, I'd be grateful if you gave it a look. Feedback, reviews, and honest criticism are all welcome.

Thank you for reading.

Kaushik
