Pins and needles and tingly feeling?

Hello everyone last week I started feeling this odd burning sensation on my right hand specifically pinky finger. It stayed the same for a few days and one day I had a terribly anxiety filled day and had a panic attack and that night I felt prickly all over my body and face and I could not sleep! The next day it was a bit better and after massaging it a bit and putting tiger balm on it I was able to sleep. I did go to my PCP and they think it’s caused by muscle tension and anxiety and have referred me to a PT and a psychiatrist. I am not convinced that’s the reason honestly and it’s been pretty bad lately and I cannot sleep well and it’s been very stressful and distracting! It also feels itchy, never actually numb, pin and needles and like something is crawling on my skin. What should I do? Do I just stick to the PT and get meds for anxiety?

Do I go to class if I am waitlisted?

Hi! I’m just wondering if I should still attend the first week of class for a class I’m waitlisted for? I’m no 2 on a waitlist and hoping I’ll get in but I’m not sure I will.

Waitlisted for a class, what can I do?

Hey guys I’m waitlisted for a class (3rd) and I’m really worried I won’t be able to get in. I have already emailed the professor but have not heard back yet. It’s a 30 seat class I think. Do you think I have a chance of getting in? I know there is still time but it’s one of those classes that’s only offered every 2 years and already full so I’m
Not sure I have a chance.

Waitlisted for metaphysics 🥲

I really wanna take metaphysics with James Thomas fall semester but the class is full and I’m gonna have to be on the waitlist and there are already a few people on the list. I can’t even register for classes until later this week. Do you think I even have a chance?

Noisy neighbors across the street

I rent a townhome but the houses across our street are single family homes and this noisy neighbor owns their place. They play extremely loud music every weekend spring-summer that can be heard from inside our house. I was going to talk to them but i have heard they are aggressive and I do not feel safe or comfortable speaking with them. The thing is, this is during the day so people have told me nothing can be done, but is it even legal for it to be that loud where people from across the street can hear it? Please advise me on what to do because I am incredible frustrated and exhausted.

Please send me good vibes

Hello everyone, I have been dealing with some health issues, I got a bacterial infection that’s taking forever to go away (I have been under the care of a Gi specialist) so my start of summer has been complete shit (pun intended). I’ve been kinda sad because of this and have to also do a “just in case” colonoscopy next month, which I am not looking forward to. Please just send me some positive energy so i can get through all of this.

This is an Asian strawberry shortcake and some green tea.

What do I bring to transfer orientation?

Hey I’m going to the transfer orientation soon and I was just wondering what I should bring? Should I bring my backpack with my laptop and everything or do I not need all that? Thanks

My boyfriend’s mom called me oriental

My boyfriend is white and so is his mother. For some reason they still don’t know my ethnicity, even though I’ve mentioned it many times and corrected them every time. (I’m half Thai and half Sri Lankan.)
His mother has called me Chinese before, and I corrected her. Now she just calls me “Oriental” bc she says she doesn’t wanna “offend me” by calling me Chinese or Japanese 🙄I don’t like being called that, and I’ve told my boyfriend many times to speak with her about it. He says he has, but ….. “that’s just the way she is.”We’ve been together for five years, and he’s been talking about getting engaged in the future. But I got so tired of his mother’s behavior that I told him I didn’t want to be part of his family if she was going to keep being racist like this to me. He said I was overreacting, so I “overreacted” by dumping him. Now I’m single, eating aglio e olio pasta and some bread rolls.

Edit: Thank you so much for all the kind words and reassurance! I will not be going back to him and instead will be taking time to focus on myself.
