Creative Social x Variety Visual Arts Fundraiser (ISO for gallery + performances)
Hello everyone! I’m hosting a creative social x variety visual arts fundraiser show this Friday 08/21 from 6PM-2AMish at the Tiny Cupboard!
We will have an art/graphic design/photography gallery + animation/film/projection showcase + open mic/performance sections + trinket sharing segments
There will also be board/video games, a collaborative playlist during figure drawing, a communal leaveonetakeone library for business cards/events/fliers/pamphlets/services/zines, communal art, karaoke, vendors, and more
The vision is to connect with other creatives and their passions, to get inspired by those around us, and to feel brave and empowered to share our otherwise private work for the sake of showing someone. I want people to embrace creative freedom; you can submit anything, you can perform anything, you get to choose what it looks like. There is no theme so frame whatever your heart desires even if it’s a picture of a partner/pet/sky. Previous participants are welcome to display again!

- Forgot to add poets! This can be before musicians.
- Printing is available until 6PM at NYPL Saratoga Branch a 5 minute walk away
- There is a chance of rain but we will just move indoors to Tiny Cupboard’s bar instead of its backyard
Whether it’s art, experience, gifts, invention, laughs, meals, memories, outfits, trinkets, your favorite piece of media, whatever, the point of existence is to share/show all of the above and more and to respect others as they self express through these avenues. If you’re comfortable, bring the above or similar cherished items of yours to present. For the gallery work please write an excerpt with your full name, pronouns. socials, and about it. There will be index cards available. BYO command strips/magnets if you don’t want to use tape!
