I did in fact do most of the right arm first because it's really annoying to paint if you glue it on first.

Took a bif of inspiration from the Ravenguard champion from space marine 2 and added a bit of gold to the aquila, also helps him look a bit more blinged out like a proper veteran.

Needs a base but otherwise done. C&C welcome!

Testing this purple ish blue, I was very happy with the result.

Applied more of the base colors, did most of the black armor highlights. How's that gene defect by the way? I think it looks nice for "corpse pale" skin.

Primed in grey seer, light dry brush of white scar, washed with 50/50 drakenhoff and medium, scooping it from flat pannels and then a few Pro Acryl BTW highlights.

We NEED this as a skin holy shit

I was struggling thinking how to paint these 3D printed shoulders since the Raven is so big and detailed, a few dabs with a sponge loaded with Corax white gave me this fantastic result that even looks a little faded.

Since I've started I've mostly painted with Citadel paints, and all of my whites have been Corax white and I just can't seem to get a smooth coat of it. It always creates texture, or doesn't cover enough. It also has a bad habit of splitting while on the wet palette.

Any advice? Substitutes?

Usually in my lists I like running a 6 man VGB attached to a darkwing shroud Judiciar and it's really effective, but with 11th rolling around the value of Terminatus Assault for battleshock seems really good, and the terminators are no slouches in the melee. What are yalls thoughts?
