Tip for blocking out sounds around the house

I've got a Roku in my bedroom and just put my AC in. It can be quite loud and I usually have to crank up the TV volume quite a bit.

I'm not sure if this is already known by most but I wanted to share but feel free to delete if its already well known.

If you've got a pair of Bluetooth earbuds with Noise Cancelation, you can set up the Roku App on your Phone, throw your buds in and play the sound through the App from your Roku on the Remote screen. Pretty handy if your neighbours are cutting the lawn, blocking out AC noise and any other sounds. My Galaxy Buds provide better sound than my 20+ year old Phillips LCD TV so its been kinda nice having improved sound quality.

I have to go back, Kate.

I've been wanting to purchase the whole series for a while now since I just picked up a BluRay player last month but haven't come across it on Marketplace or any sites like Kijiji. Luckily in my small town we've still got a DVD Rental store and I decided to stop in and see if they had Lost. Fortunately they had the complete first series so I snagged that! I've got 7 days to Binge it and I think I can pull it off even with NHL Playoffs going on.

I've checked on eBay too for complete sets and found some for about $60CAD with free shipping but I was always just worried about disc's getting cracked or scratched in transport so I held off.

I cannot wait to go back to The Island soon!!

Any Strava users here?

Another user here on Reddit created a tool that maps out your songs played during your activities such as Running, Walking, Cycling and others. Colour codes the song on the map and shows them in the list below. If you've also got a Smart Watch with a HRM it'll map out songs played over your heart rate. Pretty neat little tool! Just login with your Strava account on the website and link your last.fm account.

Can be found @ tracklist.run if you're curious!
