Any way to figure out the airflow specifications on this?

It was used in a very strong pc watercooling system. I need about 300 - 400 cfm.

What filter to use on a diy booth?

Here in Greece, furnaces dont use filters, and I have a hard time finding what type of filter to buy from a hardware store. I intend to use a box, a kitchen/bath ventilation fan, and some ventilation tubes. I also want to add some led on the top to see what I'm painting. So what should I look out for and what are some types of common filters I could use.

Would yhis be okay for a beginner?

For 60 euros. Would that be okay to begin? Also, what else should I look into when checking to buy my first airbrush

Advice for proxying Conquest model

TLDR Advice to a newbie for proxying , to evaluate if it's not a scam and the beginning of my journey so far.

Hello, Im making this post as I could use some advice. Look at this cool model from Conquest. I know, right? It looks so cool ! I saw it and thought that hey, that's something I want for my army as a Lord of Change proxy, perhaps. (210mm tall, 40 euros in the condition of last pic.

In general, I'm new. I have built my first 10 rubriks and for the past month or so I have almost daily sat and did arts and crafts, and I'm having a lot of fun with the hobby. I want to take things slow as I want to make my minis pretty first try so I'm taking my time practicing how to prime properly (Did it on my rubrics very cleanly finally!) And how to paint on sprues. I learned drybrushing and how to thin my paints etc. I feel way more confident now and I somewhat successfully painted some cheaper (and smaller ) dnd minis.

So far I loved learning how to work the plastic and miliput epoxy for kitbashing. I want a really unique army with lots of cool kitbashes and custom sorcerers.

I like searching secondhand for bits and kits to customize.

I bought so far a tzangoor shaman, an armageddon librarian and 3 warcry beasts (the bird ones ) from aos.

Im saving to buy a battleforce.

So I saw this kit for 40 euros in Greece and I want advice.

1 If Ill have issues with this for playing (its 21 cm tall, just a bit more from a LOC)

2 If the price is too good to be true

3 Confirmation as this will sit in a pile of shame to do last as a centerpiece when I will have had the most practice with my other models.

4 Creative ideas!

Finally built my first ever models.

Experimented with two part epoxy and a tzangor upgrade kit. Did sub assembly on weapons after the first two, where I realized I'll have a hard time painting. Ready to prime!

Priming in orange for blue

So I just got my first box of rubrics for the thousand sons and I'm excited to start painting. I have 0 experience in modeling.

So, as a true tzeentchean/thousand sons enjoyer, I like to over complicate things. So I want to paint my minis nice, and I started researching techniques and whatnot, and honestly, I feel overwhelmed. I am not sure the difference of a speedpaint from a contrast paint to a wash to normal acrylic and from all the techniques such as dry brushing and edge highlighting and more.

But I'm researching and slowly figuring things out.

I see that the most common ways to paint thousand sons is to use primer of either blue or gold and then paint the other color. I wanna go for a copper blue combo, fitting the whole Egyptian theme (age of copper, etc).

I also saw this technique of priming imperial fists pink as it's the opposite in the color wheel to yellow.

So, has anyone done it in orange and blue? It's convenient for my copper as well for a base, especially if I go over the trim with some thinned out brown and then some metallic finish.

I added some photos for reference of the blue orange combo.

TLDR: Do you have experience in priming with orange??

P.S. Also, if anyone has any resources or videos to help out someone new to the hobby of painting minis and exercises to do before going to the minis, I'll appreciate it.

What are these screamers and are they worth it?

I really like screamers and the idea of owning a bunch of them is attractive especially some special ones or unique ones for example cool older models.

Advice to a newbie

My local warhammer retailer store has one of these at MSRP. I just started the hobby, got 10 Rubric Marines, almost built them all, and am excited to start painting. I love the hobby so far. I still need to buy supplies, so im a bit hard on money. It would be better to buy it next month. im just afraid someone else is gonna snach it. It's a lot of money to justify rn, but I like all the minis from this combo box, and maybe I can make this work if i budget a bit tighter. In general, I'm of the mindset to take things slow, anticonsumerist, etc, but i think the marketing got me this time lol
