Wasteland Phantasy
(Fuck AI)
____
At times
I wonder
if my poems
have anguished
through conveyer belts,
the great machine
polishing,
manufacturing
my wrinkled
imaginations
and
imperfections.
~
Counterfeits
of blood
and ink,
taut with
commercial
ribbons,
repackaged
and
stripped of flame.
~
Phantasy
drowned
in processed fat,
vomit and bile
greasing
the wheels
of language models
and
algorithms.
~
My stolen
compassion
and rage,
harmonizing
with
wastelands,
devouring
intimacy
until
nothing
remains.
Cat who I've known his whole life suddenly wants nothing to do with me after moving out.
Brief background on situation.
My brother and I lived together for almost ten years.
Back in 2018, he got a kitten (domestic short hair male named Monty) and we have literally lived together up until June, when my brother moved out.
Monty and I have always got along and he is a very sweet and inquitisitve cat, however there have been altercations in the past where he would get overstimulated and lash out, attacking myself, my brother, or my partner.
These were very few and far between and haven't happened in a long time due to help from a vet and behavioral changes.
Despite that, Monty and I always had a great relationship and he is a very open and friendly cat.
I've never given him a reason not to trust me, and always showed him love.
This changed when my brother moved out. Since then, whenever I come over, he will hide under the bed and have nothing to do with me.
He won't act aggressive with me, and will even rub against me and smell me before darting away.
He isn't acting aggressive or hissing or swiping at all, just... hiding.
I know it's just with me, because he won't act that way with strangers or my partner and I have NO clue what could have made him change or what I could have done.
Has this ever happened to anyone? If so, did you discover the reason why?
Watching for the first time and...
No one told me how insanely funny this show is.
The acting is so exaggerated and odd, genuinely feeling like a Tim and Eric sketch at times.
It seems like all the characters are trapped in some sort of soap opera limbo, performing this millions of times, and are just tired of existing but there is some sort of ominous haze around them.
Truly bizarre and weirdly endearing at the same time.
Driving on Shuffle
I wonder what she is doing.
~
That one moment
in a song
still invoking goose bumps,
decades later.
A shuffled serenade
on repeat
in forgotten playlists.
~
Is she alive?
If so,
that would be enough,
but still...
I wish I could thank her.
~
I hope all of her dreams came true
and she is watering plants
by the windowsill
or chatting with a loved one,
her glass half full.
~
Maybe somewhere in the background,
an unseen force
lets her know,
after all this time,
her melody
still drifts along,
accompaniying strangers,
alongside eternity,
on the weary drive home.

The amount of cameos in this episode kills me every time.
Just started shooting. Here are some from my first roll.
My partner got me a camera for Christmas and I've never shot on film before.
What a beautiful artform, but there is so much to learn.
Name a movie with a sexier facial expression than this. It's impossible
Little Friend
Here is a new poem about a spider, among other things.
~ Little Friend ~
Crawling amidst patterns
beyond comprehension,
little spider,
your fate
is not mine
to determine.
~
Threads spiraling
from cardboard boxes
and spackled ceilings
to dust covered floors.
~
I promise
not to threaten,
nevertheless
your
curious
apprehension
is justified.
~
Boundless
are we,
playing hide and seek.
~
Companions
of fleeting
awareness,
avoiding
or devouring
but
occasionally...
harmonizing.
~
Continue exploring,
little friend.
I hope you experience
as much
as possible,
concealed in darkness
or
reveling in sunlight.
