You might not be able to see it properly but it says “MCMXXII” which means 1922 in Roman numerals

These were from an official Dav event btw

Exactly what it looks like. Supposedly they didn’t translate the rest of the novels because Nate was a troublemaker and was a bad role model to kids

I’ve been in this sub for almost 2 years and I keep seeing this image with no explanation of its origins and so I’ve come here to ask this question. I’m not asking it in the main sub since they’re strict as hell

The fact that the CD looks normal on the outside but is completely different on the inside is actually cool. The inside being BL/ind branded is the genius part: They made the clean version seem like it was coming from the corporation themselves. Very cool

In the live recording of Gorillaz at the Roundhouse, before Sweepstakes there’s a Murdoc interlude and he says something:
“I can see you down there! It’s John, isn’t it? From, from Ivory, yeah.”
Now I’m wondering who John is, and if they ever answered this. I can’t link the video since it violates a rule but search up “Gorillaz live at the roundhouse” and it should pop up so you can see for yourself, it’s at the 27 minute mark
