School Name/Reputation in Marriage

I’m a 21M from Lahore living in UAE and wanted some honest opinions from women regarding education and marriage.
I did part of my schooling in the UAE and completed my last two years of school online during COVID. After that, I got admitted to a few US state universities, but my student visa got stuck in administrative processing and, even after almost 2 years, was never approved or rejected.
Rather than waste time waiting, I started a bachelor’s degree at Virtual University and simultaneously joined my family’s trading business. Over the last few years, I’ve worked in the business in Pakistan when I was in school and 2 year ago started in the UAE, and Alhamdulillah it’s doing well now.
I could transfer to a well-known physical university in Pakistan, but that would likely mean leaving behind the business I’ve spent 2 years building. Continuing my degree online is currently the most practical option.

My question is: when it comes to marriage, how much does the university name matter? Would doing a bachelor’s from an online university be a significant concern if the person is otherwise educated, ambitious, and financially stable?

Need Career Advice: Best Way to Get Into a Chemical Trading Company in the UAE?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently based in the UAE and looking to get into a chemical trading company, even as an intern or trainee.

I’m still completing my bachelor’s degree through distance learning, but I already have around 3–4 years of hands-on experience in chemical trading (business development, procurement, import/export, sourcing, quotations, logistics, etc.) across the UAE and Pakistan.

At this stage, my priority is learning and industry exposure, so I don’t mind starting with a lower salary if the role is relevant.

For those familiar with the UAE job market:
Is it realistic to get hired without a completed degree if I have relevant experience?

Should I mainly apply through LinkedIn/Indeed/Bayt, or is it worth emailing chemical trading companies directly even if they don’t have openings?

Does walking into companies with a CV still work in the UAE, especially for trading companies?

I’d really appreciate any advice from people who’ve been through this. Thanks!
