Getting phone call from one of the suppliers?

I just got a phone call from one of the suppliers that gave me samples on the app. Really strange, they have my info but I didnt expect them to try to call me. I didnt pick up but they left a clear voicemail asking if I was ready to make an order with them. I had already told them beforehand I'd be messaging them when I was ready, which was two days ago. Is this common?

Edit: Holy moly, stop sending me message requests. All these sourcing agents in my dms. Im not interested in your sourcing, I don't know who you are.

First order MOQ and inventory managing?

Im currently developing a brand in the card binder and sleeve space. My catalog is going to be extensive, with different styles and colors. The problem I am having is with my first order. Ive found the right supplier, the samples were perfect, now theyre asking for 100 MOQ per color, which adds up to quite a bit with the 5 colors I would have liked to stock. All in all, id end up with 2000 total units across the binder section without a sale on a first order. The biggest issue for me is space and weight, theyre not small items the second would be upfront cost.

The sleeves and other items are a little easier to swallow, much cheaper in bulk and space/weight wise would be easier to manage. Is it out of the scope to ask for a significantly smaller quantity so I can test the market and my branding?

At a crossroads, anxiety is ramping up. What are your thoughts on how to proceed?

Galaxy s26 Perkins when auto focusing?

Anyone using an android device to stream? I practiced in private and noticed whenever bringing something to focus, the camera will jerk/shift slightly and the focus looks terrible. Can't seem to find any settings.

Are you able to spot middlemen/trading companies?

I have three companies ive gotten samples from. I'd rather deal with a factory direct obviously. One of them might be a factory based on my search but the other two are showing signs of trading/middlemen

The companies are

Zhongshan jin ou hardware and plastics products co., LTD.

This one is taking the longest for samples and they seem like a factory. The person I'm dealing with was slow to respond at first.

Hangzhou gelvshi supply chain managament co., ltd

This one sent out samples quick, easy to communicate but they seem like a trading company based on the search and name

Dongguan Jonesun Trading co., ltd.

This one seemed to be the easiest of the tree to communicate, showed me pics of the samples with my logo before hand also, very nice to deal with but I think theyre also a trading company.

I dont mjnd dealing with a trading company if I find them to be very pleasant and makes my life easier as well. Im.just worried about being excessively marked up when I finally start negotiating.

Going to start selling soon (pokemon)

Hello! Im getting ready to do my first show and i wanted to get a community feel beforehand. I have quite a bit of vintage/early wotc cards but also some mid era and modern. Is there anything you guys in the community would like to see on a stream that you feel you don't see enough of? My goal leans towards just having a fun show and fair deals/pricing for the community and the hobby. I'd love to hear some of your thoughts, if you'd rather tell me in private, dms are open as well.

Would rather not have them called away.

Would you roll this option? I've never rolled before but I've changed my mind after seeing the spike with Nvidia and want to try to keep my shares

I have a vintage expedition holo in a BGS 9.5 all around except the surface is a 9. I was hoping to get it in a psa slab but with a minimum grade of a 10. Would you take the chance trying to crossover grade it? I could Crack it but id prefer not to.

So it's been about 2 weeks now since I started uploading. 10 days since my first short, and im having a blast learning how to edit videos. My first short had almost 1k views which struck me as weird, but I heard it's youtube pushing to see whos going to watch my content. All the other shorts I posted gathered around 2 to 300ish views and then stopped. My last short had some nicer editing, better cuts and just overall a more hype vibe to it and it reached 890 views, then stopped. I think that's a win. I have another one scheduled later today where I learned how to overlay so that's going to be fun to see what happens.

I think ditching long form videos was the play for now, shorts are just so much easier for me to record in one sitting and then edit them slowly while I upload them. Definitely helps my mood with how chaotic my life is outside of uploading as a parent. But I do want to upload some nice long form videos occasionally. What do you guys think? Curious how everyone else is doing with a similar situation.

Also on a side note, I've been uploading on TikTok, not sure if thats allowed to discuss here as well, sort of different results there.

Rolled a few 25 dollar packs, didnt think it was worth it so I took a chance at the 1k pack. Immediately got a psa 8 mew expeditions holo and I requested to get it shipped. This is my first time using the app, whats the usual process after? Do they send me a tracking number or do I just wait?

Also chase bank Immediately tried to decline the purchase but I authorized it, looks like its pending but on gamestops side it says the card is shipped, think they could try to back out? I already notified them to charge the card again if it didnt go through

The youtube audio library when editing my shorts is almost completely different than if I did a short on mobile. Why is that? Ill use the song "Pretty little baby" as an example.

If i try to look for it, it doesnt exist in the audio library, but if I try to shoot a live short on my mobile device I can add the audio and it exists, along with tons of other music.

Is there a way around this? I always upload and edit my shorts on PC.

Hi, im trying to use the pro video mode on UW for videos. Im using it to open trading cards and I cannot get it to focus on the cards as im opening them. Even tapping to try to auto focus and locking it doesnt work. The text and anything in front of me is blurry. I dont have this issue with the normal pro video mode. Any tips?
