Lukas tells Bernard something in the Season 2 finale that completely breaks him. But... didn't they already know about the Safeguard Procedure? Bernard literally says earlier that the Head of IT and the Shadow are aware of it. So why does Lukas suddenly reveal it like it's some universe-shattering discovery? Did Lukas uncover another layer of the truth that Bernard never knew? Or was it the confirmation that the Safeguard was actually about to be triggered? Or am I missing a crucial detail here?
