are these headshots good?

these are the headshots i’m planning to submit! i’d love your honest, very picky first impression. when you look at these photos, what kinds of roles would you immediately want to cast me in? do they show enough range for a casting agency?

also, are these headshots genuinely strong enough to submit? please point out anything you would change or improve, including expressions, styling, hair/makeup, framing, lighting, or which shots i should keep or replace. i’d rather be overly critical now than submit something that isn’t casting-agency ready. thank you so much.

fun things to do while at the fringe

while i’m in edinburgh for the fringe, what are some fun, interactive things i can do? they could be interactive fringe shows, or honestly anything where people are getting together, having a blast, and actually socialising. i’m travelling solo and really want to meet more people, make friends, and have some fun while i’m here.

TENANCY TAKEOVER IN ALL GIRLS’ HOUSE

🏠 Hi everyone! I’m looking for a female student to take over my tenancy for the 2026–27 academic year. You can move in immediately if you’d like!

💷 £160 per week

👩 All-girls house with 6 rooms in total.

📍 Upper West Grove, Manchester, M13 0BB

🎓 All housemates are second-year University of Manchester students

The girls are all my friends, and I can genuinely vouch for them. They are kind, helpful, generous, and very easy to get along with.
I’m moving out because I’ll be staying with a family member, so I’m looking for someone to take over my contract.
I’m not posting the exact house address publicly, but if you’re interested, please message me privately and I’ll send you all the details, including information about the house and tenancy.
Please feel free to message me if you’re interested or know someone who might be! 😊

Please help! I’m gaining fat and losing muscle

I work out six days a week. My routine is a push day, a pull day, two leg days, one day of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and one day of cardio. I also walk 10,000 steps every day.
I’ve had comprehensive blood tests done, including my liver and kidney function, and everything came back normal.
I’m a 25-year-old woman, I weigh 64 kg, and I’ve been following this routine consistently for about a month. I’ve also been eating no more than 1,900 calories per day. I’m vegetarian (though I do eat eggs), and I’ve been consuming around 85 grams of protein every day.
Despite all of this, when I compared my body composition measurements from before I started to now, I found that I’ve gained about one pound of fat and lost around 700 grams of muscle. The only positive change I’ve noticed is that my strength has increased.
I genuinely don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. I’ve put so much effort into my training, my diet, and my consistency, yet I’m apparently losing muscle while gaining fat. It’s incredibly discouraging, and I feel completely dejected. I honestly feel like I can’t lose weight at all. Can someone please help me understand what might be going on?
