My handsome sweet boy Bootstrap. He's a Texas Ratsnake.

I was so happy to see him out! It had been almost 3 weeks as he had went into shed and after I fed him and didn't see him for a day or two afterwards.

He's my good buddy. I have 4 other snakes that are kings/milks. Bootstrap is so curious with so much personality and just really wants to hangout on your shoulders and watch what's going on/ inspect everything you are working on. He then wants to cuddle up in your hoodie sleeve and take a nap.

Anybody know possibly when abouts these were made? The person who these belonged to passed away in 2003 but had these bad boys for decades, at least, so I'm told.

Can anyone tell me about the company or the what the gold marks mean?

Any idea of value?

Should I take these to a jewler to have them cleaned up?

These sunglasses are prescription, does it hurt the frames or the value to get new lenses put in?

They said I could have them because I thought they were cool. Previous family member who bought and owned them passed away in 2003. They have been sitting and gathering dust since then.

Don't know the brand, the age, if full gold or gold plated.

Relative had a bunch of stuff from the 60s-90s in same storage area I found glasses.

Today I introduced my boy Boot Strap to 2 random people, who loved him.

Today I had an Amazon delivery. My MIL open the door and asked if the young lady wanted an ice cold drink. She did take her up on the offer, we have variety.

I came that way because I wanted to test the waters. If she was scared, I would take my snake away immediately. I am not this random lady's awakening to how cool snakes are. HOWEVER! she had never held a snake before but asked to touch him and take a better look.

She loved him and said how cool it was to interact with a snake.

Later a soliciting man came along trying to sell us Internet. We already happy with the service we have. So while my husband was trying to let the young, college age guy down gently, I showed up with Boot Strap.

Hey, I don't mean to scare you but I have a snake wrapped around my arm.

He was like YOOOOOOOOOOOO!

He has never held a snake, let alone a very socialized, friendly snake!!

He loved Boot and wanted to hold him!

My hubby took this guy's phone and took a ton of pictures so the guy could post and share. He was whatever towards his sale, but absolutely made his day, by letting meet Boot Strap and hold him.

I'm always so happy to show people that snakes aren't all venom and teeth.

Hopefully they will have a soft spot for ratsnakes after meeting a friendly one.

My parents hated snakes and constantly put me down for being interested, and loving them. Congratulations like I'm 5 would go along way to healing a past wrong.

Share your babies wherever is safe, share them and hope the people delighted by them will think twice before harming a wild snake.

Love this book series but whenever I want to revisit there is always a problem with some books being available and some not.

He loves rubbing his head and burrowing into my hair. I've noticed that he especially does this when its freshly washed and soft. He doesn't even care if it's wet.

He does something similar with my husband but since he has shorter hair, he will rub and wrap himself around hubbys fuzzy arms. He always has to check up top tho just in case hair magics itself up there.

Usually when I'm hanging out with Boot he just nestles in and stays there. Just watching the room from my shoulder with his head poking out

He has a part time job as a head band.

Happy to see Cheeto out and around! Usually he's the kind to just stay hidden and buried. My husband redid his enclosure this weekend after cleaning it and we have had a happy guy ever since. Hope he will continue to hangout topside from time to time.

Edit to add: Cheeto is getting a new bigger enclosure by the end of summer. Recently upgraded another snakes enclosure and it's not cheap! It's his for now home. Not permanent.
