How do I decide between these 2
Hi All,
I’m having trouble deciding which of these 2 guitars to add to my collection. Both are amazing and sound incredible! I like the semi hollow body of the Vela. I also like the feel of the neck on the fender. I mostly play jam band (ie Phish, Grateful Dead). Anyone have one of these or both? What do you enjoy about either the Vela or Ultra 2?

First attempt at geode
My first attempt at tying a geode pattern (if this can be called a geode). Reminds me of an agar plate. A work in progress but I dig it. Colors are sage green, forest green, terracotta and a sprinkle of timber wolf.

Fender Telecaster
Looking for people’s opinion on whether a fender ultra 2 telecaster would be appropriate for Jamming to the likes of the Dead and Phish. Do you think there is too much ‘twang’ and would a Stratocaster be better suited instead?
