My entire setup stopped working after months

A few months ago I made a setup for my study. Nothing too fancy as I don't know squat about electricity. Had 5m of WS2811 24V strip, connected with 2,5m of 20awg wire (also from BTF) and the Gledopto WLED controller in the pic.

Everything worked fine for about 3 months, always used it at about 20% brightness. I then decided to add a second strip, exactly the same one, to the GPIO2 port, which also worked fine for 2 days, except I could not control it via GPIO2 in WLED; I had to use segments. No clue why but it was fine.

Then today I just touched the controller to move it aside a bit, like I sometimes do, and all the LEDs started flickering random colors. I thought it was a connection issue so I took the wires out of the controller, put them back in and now the LEDs don't react at all anymore. Can't turn them on, though WLED seems to think the controller works fine.

So I tried to connect another small piece of strip with a wire-to-strip connector to the controller but that doesn't do anything either. Please I'm too dumb to figure this out on my own. Everything worked fine for months.

How to find the best artist nearby

Hi yall

So I'm looking to get my second tattoo, a larger blackwork vine that wraps my upper arm. My first tattoo isn't horrible, especially since it was a group piece with my friends so it holds little artistic value and much more emotional. Since then I've researched a lot into what makes a quality tattoo and after watching like 7 seasons of ink master I've fallen in love with top notch application.

And that's where my problem lies. Every artist near me I check out appears to be a great artist but a bad tattooer. With some of em it's also very inconsistent. Two great tattoos, 1 bad tattoo and so on. Am I going to have to settle for mediocre or is the only option to drive 5 hours just to get talking about the design? Am I just being too critical? I know I'll have to sit on any design an artist proposes cuz that's how I am so I'm a little scared of going for someone that's a very long drive off.

What is up with the judgement in here?

I don't know if these posts are allowed but here goes. This sub is extremely judgemental? And I'm not talking about being honest about tattoos that are applied horribly or any of that. I'm talking personal taste, styles, design.

Probably the most common case I see is where, for some reason, seeing the same fcking flowers on a million different people in the exact same style is considered a 'great' tattoo everytime but anytime someone posts a tattoo that's inspired by something from Pinterest, everybody thinks it's instantly lame and unoriginal. There's nothing wrong with wanting a specific subject tattooed and needing visual inspiration from a site like pinterest to make sure you'll be happy with what you tell your artist.

And what's with the term 'trends' in here? It's always 'yeah that trend is gonna fade really quick and then it will just seem stupid'. Ofcourse the trend will fade, does that change anything about the tattoo or how much the person likes it? If anything it makes the art more monumental, as it becomes part of the evolution of tattooing.

Idk I can go on like this for a while. I might be alone in these opinions but I've come to just lurk the posts here and not interact with the comment sections. Ya'll toxic af.

My aloe vera is dying! Orange/red discoloring on the leaves, one leaf fell off. It's been in full afternoon sun for a few weeks after being in the shade for a long time. I also repotted it into a sand/perlite/soil mixture a while back and I only water when the soil is dry. What's happeninnnnggg

Are there any other wizarding sports?

Quidditch is always referred to as the *most* popular sport in the wizarding world. Are there any mentions of other sports exclusive to the magic community? I can't remember ever hearing about any other.

I feel like a baller rn

I'm fking doing it my dudes. I'm consistently flossing. Every night, before I brush my teeth. This has been a long time coming. My effort in keeping up with dental hygiene has been wonky throughout my life. Every year my dentist tells me to start flossing, everyday.

I've been doing it for over 2 months now. It's oddly satisfying. Now I even feel like my teeth are still nasty when I forget to. Life is officially together😎
