I enjoy reading books, be it fiction or non fiction. I also write kannada poetry. Another hobby of mine is to go on hikes to the western ghats and enjoy nature in its true form.

Strictly vegetarian, don't drink, don't smoke. Not judging anyone, but sharing a kitchen and a Saturday night works better if you're the same.

I know that differing views on having kids can create real challenges down the line, so I am looking for someone with a clear childfree mindset.

Most of us understand the state at which AI is today and how it's advancing. Has anyone tried using it to translate books or poems? There were many writers who were known for ಅನುವಾದ. Will this ಅನುವಾದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ go away now? Or will it come in a different form altogether? Curious about your thoughts

ಅನಕೃ ಅವರ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಓದಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಗುಣ. ಸರಳ, ನೇರ, ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ ಅವರ ಹೆಗ್ಗುರುತು. ಕಲೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ಅವರ ಗದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಬಗೆಯ ಆವೇಶ, ಆರ್ದ್ರತೆ ಬಂದುಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಕಲಾಮೀಮಾಂಸೆಯ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಯುವುದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಬಂಧದ ಭಾರವಾಗದೆ ಕಥೆಯ ಓಘದಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆರೆತುಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನೂರು ಪುಟಗಳ ಆಸುಪಾಸಿನ ಈ ಕಿರುಗಾತ್ರವೂ ಕೃತಿಯ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ವರವೇ. ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಳೆದಾಡದೆ, ಒಂದೇ ಗುಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿ ಮುಗಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಪುಸ್ತಕ.

ನನಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದು ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುವ ತಂತ್ರ. ವೆಂಕಟಸುಬ್ಬಯ್ಯನವರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುವ ಶೈಲಿ ಓದುಗನನ್ನೂ ಆ ಶೋಧನೆಯ ಪಾಲುದಾರನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ತ.ರಾ.ಸು ಅವರ ಕಾವ್ಯಮಯ ಭಾಷೆ ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗದ ಕೋಟೆಯ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಗೂ ಜೀವ ತುಂಬುತ್ತದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳು, ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಸಂಗೀತಾಸಕ್ತರು ಓದಲೇಬೇಕಾದ ಕೃತಿ.
