Need advice on studying abroad!

I'm from PH and want to study abroad to Canada or USA, but I am low income... I'm in desperate need of chatting with anyone who could probably help me out! I'm happy to give more info about myself through chat

How generous is SFU with aids and scholarships for intl. students?

I'm considering SFU but I'm a low income international student ($30-60k ish per year im not sure). Would anyone know how generous they are? My stats are pretty good so I'm not particularly terrified for acceptance, but I really wanna study in Canada :(

I'm 17 and need advice and criticism on my most recent script

I'm far too shy to upload more pages because I already directed the entire short film, so it might be found by my film crew mates cuz they know my writing style lol (But I am accepting PMs if anyone would like to critique/read more.) I already have a short film for this, but I want more feedback to improve my short films because I'm not super duper happy with this. I know I can do better.

Premise: An ambitious teen actress must decide between her typical indie roles or a life-changing role promised by the same producers who once destroyed her mother's life.

I based it off those child stars in the media industry who suffered from the toxic environment (ex. dan schneider victims, justin bieber, etc)

What would be the most notable and upcoming film school in Canada rn?

I've been looking into TMU and York, but nowadays the Toronto film industry isn't doing well from what I hear. Would people consider SFU and Capilano as the next great upcoming film schools?

Do i have a chance for financial aid at all?

I really wanna study abroad in Canada but I've been hearing about the very low chances of financial aid and scholarships... I'm from PH and if you know what's going on over here then you know why I don't wanna stay there.

I'm a rising junior at an international high school but I'm on scholarship so I only pay 10% of the tuition fee. I don't think my family could afford this school without scholarship, but I'm pretty sure our income is around $15k-30k per year. I'm aiming to major in film.

As of now, I have a ~3.8–3.9 GPA with highest honors, and my ECs are Class President for 3 years, pioneered my school's broadcast division, wrote for student publication, directed 3 short films, and volunteered as a videographer & editor for school events.

These are my plans in my junior year: I'm founding my school's Film Club which is a mentorship program and workshops for 30+ students, and for the school publication, I'll be Assistant Editor-in-Chief + Broadcast Head then by my last year Editor-in-Chief. I might also be a student intern for my school's theatre production as a stage manager.

I haven't taken the SAT yet, and I know I should probably prioritize that for scholarships, but should I build up on my ECs more?
