Please help with advice for what im about to say cause i just can't find a show that I can finish

I want something (and I know this is gonna sound really corny) that will kinda like make me want to be one of the main characters ? If that makes sense

Want a good story, something that keeps me hooked

I like "the boys " just can't finish gets a little boring (was just watching for homelander)

I watched a little bit of reacher ( show was kinda like too corny and slow)

I watched breaking bad; better call Saul all the way

And I'm looking for a show that's popular ( so | can talk about it w people and look more into it etc)
