Suppressor pouch?

I'm buying my first suppressor, an Echocore Sector Compact. I've read enough about how hot suppressors get so have been looking for a pouch that I can use to remove it from the rifle then drop it into my range bag without worrying about things melting or burning.

Wondering if there's a consensus on the best one or if there are several to choose from based on cost, size, melt resistance, molle attachments and whatever else is considered necessary.

The Echocore is 5 inches long and 1.75 inches in diameter. I've found a few on Amazon but wanted to check here first before pulling the trigger (little pun there). TIA.

Question about suppressors

I'm not sure this makes sense so I thought I'd ask the hive mind. I'm adding a suppressor to my rifle and thought about adding one to my A300UP. Seems that the choke could be removed and a suppressor screwed into the choke threads. Spoke to a LGS employee about it while filling out paperwork and he didn't think that suppressors had external threads, only internal.

I can't see a suppressor reducing decibels to any significant degree but I haven't done any research. Plus, fully loaded with a suppressor on the end the center of gravity would be way too far forward. Having a gunsmith put threads on the end of the barrel would make the metal there pretty thin, I would think.

So what say you? Am I crazy for contemplating this?

ECHOCORE Sector 556 - Compact

I'm shopping for a suppressor for a mini 14. I've been speaking with a CA at Silencers and he's recommending the Echocore. Wondering whether anyone has experience with the product and what your thoughts are. TIA.

Looking at suppressors

I'm looking at suppressors for my mini tactical folder 585 series. I've been talking with one of the CS folk at Silencers and he's put me onto ECHOCORE Sector 556 - Compact.

Wondering whether anyone has experience with one or has other recommendations they're happy with.

This was a new one

I have an arrangement with Xcel that gives them access to my battery as many as 60 times a season to mitigate brown outs. Today, in the area where options like self consumption and the like can be seen was an alert I've never seen before - DR Event: Active. Talked to Enohase and, after much ado, learned that's Xcel setting up the possibility that they'll drain my battery, possibly to the 35% threshold I set. Thought I'd let those in the community know that have a similar arrangement with their grid provider and haven't seen an alert like that before.

Refrigerant cost?

So why is it I can take my car to my mechanic and get my refrigerant topped off for around $200, but when I call a shop that services refrigerators they want $700 to recharge the system? Are they trying to force me to buy a new refrigerator from them or is there another reason?

Edit: appreciate the passing of knowledge. My assumptions turned out to be incorrect so I appreciate those who sought to educate me as to refrigerator maintenance, rather than just make snarky comments. I don't have a leak, just always considered it good practice to have my car's AC system checked every few years when it's at the shop for something else so thought it good practice with my fridge as well. Turns out not so much.

Inspiron 3670 PS hiccups?

I bought the 3670 a couple of years ago and finally got around to upgrading memory from 16 to 32, CPU from i3 to i5 and adding more storage.

This was a brand new machine with win 11 installed.

I moved a bootable win 10 SSD from my old machine to this one and upgraded to 11 via CD. During the upgrade the ps would "hiccup" is the best I can explain it. No disruption of service, everything continues to run, but there's an odd sound almost like a quack then the fan spins up. This may just be a bad ps from the factory since I've run every diagnostic and test I can find in the net and nothing points to a problem with the ps.

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this. I realize this is a fairly old machine in computer years but I don't use it for gaming and it's a rock solid desktop with the upgrades.

Any thoughts or experiences greatly appreciated, thanks.

Screenshot expansion gone?

Upgraded to a 10 from an 8. Running 16 currently. I used to be able to expand on the size of a screenshot on the 8 but have yet to get it to work on the 10. Did they delete the capability? Using power/lower volume button to take screenshots.
