After Eliz of York died, and he did the proper amount of mourning; why wasn't he much more persistent about finding a bride? I know there were a few attempts, and some negotiations that obviously ended up going nowhere.... Margaret Beaufort was still alive, and I don't understand why neither of them had Henry safely re-married siring sons to help the solitary prince. They knew how quickly death happened.
That was a discussion begun a few times towards the middle of Henry's kingship. Obviously, it never happened, bu there were those who thought Cromwell may have been ennobled just to marry the King's bastard daughter and handle her.
I cannot even imagine that alternative history, and I wonder what others thought of those rumors?
This was Q. Elizabeth's idea, and she even elevated Dudley to Earl. Theoretically, it was a legit proposition to "offer" Dudley to the then Queen of Scots. What might have happened if that occurred? I think Robert would've liked being King more than Elizabeth's puppet.
I know the Butlers in the Haven have some flexibility in honoring passengers in the highest seats privileges; but is it at all like the Royal Genies on Royal? I really want to celebrate my husband's birthday with a private musical "jam" in our suite, so would need to find ships musicians to work for us on the side.
Is this kind of ask do-able, or do I need to look at another cruise line?
To have the Genie arrange for me to do Karaoke, but assembling a mini-orchestra of some of the ship's musicians. I would imagine a promised tip for the musicians would have to be promised.
This would really get me to decide on the much higher cost I would need for this cruise. Thoughts or advice, please.
