[OFF TOPIC] Anyone else find themselves enjoying the devils more on a re read?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not as good as the first law. Still I found myself looking forward to reading from the top necromancer in europes pov and found them strangly more endearing than last time?
I wish he would make more first law given where it ended but kind of pumped for the heretics at the same time.

Martha - bombshells

She is going to dive away from Aidan first chance. Hope they bring in some bombshells soon.
He’s such a baby man, can’t even say sorry not making her a coffee or doing better in the future.

How much is everyone reading?

I’m constantly thinking about writing, have started writing -30k words in. And watching stories. I read a fantasy book if it’s large every 3 weeks and try to read an hour before bed. I have bad adhd so struggle to read more than that. Just wondering how many hours people tend to read per week and if I want to be a successful writer if I should be reading a lot more. Thinking about trying to do a few different genre books a month as well as a large fantasy every 3 weeks.
Does watching tv help? I feel like complex layered tv like the greats sopranos, wire, bb, bcs etc helps with storytelling but not necessarily the nuts and bolts of writing. Dialogue is tricky, sentence cadance, internal character voice rather than external. Just wondering what people think?
I was watching a Joe Abercrombie interview (favourite author) where he said he reads a lot less fiction and lots of non fiction because of his fantasy books. Is that a change anyone has had to make here?
Lastly for any fellow neuro diverse people, not writing exactly what someone means is more difficult for us right? Like fuck me I walk around all day everyday wishing people said what they mean and that’s terrible for writing 😂. Anyone else struggling with this?

Theory - spoilers

Is the culmination going to be Tom killing wyck? Completely open to being wrong but I’m wondering if all the theories about his son being the last descendant being true. He makes a deal and has to kill wyck for that deal to go ahead. Internal arc him finally having courage in opposition to being too afraid to ring wycks doorbell.

Is anyone watching widows bay?

I have been on the fence with it since episode 1. Stephen root being in it was the clincher for me to give it a go, episode 6 wow. It’s great and feels original.

Chat gpt - question?

So I’m not using chat gpt to write but I am writing and then asking it to critique the work for what works and what doesn’t. It’s giving me answers as if I’m going to be an amazing author and I don’t trust it. Is there any function to get it to be a bit harsher? I really want to make a good book and worry that I’m just having smoke blown up my ass.

Horror book with protagonist speaking to a creature

It’s for a project, specifically I want an example where the creatures intentions are unclear/not sure if it is good or bad.
Demon, ghost, gargoyle. I don’t care as long as there’s a few conversations.

Outliners - descriptions?

I have outlined a few books, one of them properly outlined to the point I am ready to start writing. I probably in all truth should have just started to get practice but procrastination is what it is.
When outlining do people generally put a character description in the info about the minor characters or do you just wing that and fix it in the edit/revision?
Also how detailed do people go with names ect, worried I may have world builders disease 😂

Been reading some nietchze quotes and the guy fucking had it figured. Also read some Oscar Wilde ones. Really I’m looking for some quotes that are profound to inspire me for some stuff I’m working on or even just your basics sort of philosophers to start learning about and hearing there quotes. Really liked lots of the people above’s quotes and it’s not an area i have paid much attention to before
