TLDR: friend having money problems wants to get a gift for mutual friend. Mutual wants him to pay his rent instead. I’m caught in the middle, what do I say?

Long version:

I’m good friends with a guy, let’s call him John. He has a roommate who I’ve also become friendly with to a lesser degree, let’s call him Bob. Recently John and I got together for a drink around his birthday. He brought up that Bob has been getting further and further behind on rent, and that Bob has been complaining about struggling financially. Few days later John and I are hanging out again and Bob happens to text me: “hey isn’t John’s birthday coming up?” So I laugh since he’s missed the date and show it to John who says “tell him not to get me anything, I’d rather he just pay rent”. For context, Bob likes getting people gifts, and has done so belatedly for John ever since they moved in together, so John has a precedent to assume that is the intention behind Bob’s text.

Is there a way I can respond to Bob that gets the message across to save his money, but isn’t insulting? Or should I just tell him he missed the bday and mind my own business and let them both deal with the consequences of their actions on their own?

So, my dad blows his nose a lot, bad allergies. He usually has a few used tissues in his pocket when he’s out and about that he throws away when he gets home. But when we go out to eat, he will blow his nose and just leave the tissue on the table for the server to clear, and I think it’s totally disgusting and rude. He says it’s no different from a used napkin, but I always beg him to just put it in his pocket and throw it away in the bin as we leave or take it home like he does with the rest. So is it as gross as I think or AIO?

Like the title says, I cannot look around in game. How do you look around? My character is stuck facing forward looking at the same space, one block up in the air. I’m playing on an MacBook Air laptop. Duck duck go browser. I thought it was because I didn’t have a mouse, but I just got a mouse and it’s still not working.

Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to resolve it? Thanks I’m advance.

My friend is out of the country right now, and has said he isn’t getting any of my texts to his phone number. When he texts me, they come from an email address but he says he’s texting, not emailing. What is going on? I know there’s a setting in messages where you can change iMessage to come from Apple ID email… but why would it switch when they go abroad? He doesn’t seem to be aware it’s happening…
